Update: I tested Geforce Experience on my PC to run the same test with my friend on the PS5 and the voice chat works so i can rule out its the account. It does look likes its the PC and over the weekend i will be re-installing windows as something isn't right. I cannot work it out whether its a driver issue as i can hear voice on discord.
