  • No, stop asking for something that hasn't helped the complaints regarding comp or iron banner, it doesn't fix anything, if you can't beat the occasional team you might match in casual pvp it's on you and not remotely a problem.

    • They should force people to wire up their connections to play any FPS title online. Would fix alot of cruicible lag, esp since next gen console wifi cards are cheaply made and lag.

    • I don't believe Freelance is the issue. Not that I'm against it. I just don't think people have much self awareness, much less map awareness. For some odd reason people think a fireteam of 6 people is unfair, because of voice communication. That's hysterical. Press the option to use fireteam chat. There. It's fair now. Guess what? The rest of your team that doesn't opt in....they don't care nearly as much as you do....so they won't. Don't worry tho. I've been a part of plenty of lobbies where imURdaddy, iWinallTHEtime, imBEHInDyOu all join fireteam chat and [b]my pRe-mAde 6 stack that consists of a few kids including an 8 yr old[/b] get stomped. If you opt in fireteam....you never know!!!!

      • Actually....it doesn't get any better. In fact, when I play ib Freelance it's generally sweatier than regular ib against stacks. In D1 we had a freelance called mercenary. I was nowhere near as good as I am now. It was MUCH worse than regular control/clash. It didn't make it any better. At least if I went against a stack it was only once in a while. Unlike in solo play where....THE PEOPLE WHO JUST ENJOY PVP TEND TO SOLO RUN JUST TO GO IN. How do I know this? I do this now. I'm a 2.32 in ib this season and I mostly run by myself.

        • Can people learn how to play this game and function on any team? Can people play the objective without requiring a teammate to focus them? Can people understand that trapping, anchoring, and flipping spawns is a mechanic they have to be concerned about as a group and as individuals with their positioning? Can people understand the direction of battle and how they influence it? Can all the free, noob, and call of duty players only be cued with other Bronze and Silver players till they learn the basic mechanics and have a working understanding of where weapons are and aren't effective?

          • Yes because bungie has proven as masters of game development they have so much development resources to spare that putting things into the game that change literally nothing is a good use of time. Crucible has been largely untouched for years and this is your go too?

          • Someone will get really butt hurt with this implementation. Imagine 6 stack god tier pvp players waiting in lobbies becuse matchmaking can't find fish in barrels for them to shoot because all fishes are in freelance. Then they will also get salty when they match other god tier 6 stack and complain that this is not fun... I've heard much more lame excuses from streamers (you can usually see their videos on xbl showcase for destiny)

            • Regular crucible shouldn’t be taken seriously. Unfortunately, every single D bag just runs around with whatever is meta at the moment.

            • It was in D1 and unsuccessful. There's no impetus to win in quick play so no reason for a solo playlist.

            • The easy answer is no. It will divide the player base too much. Make matchmaking for teams take too long. It was one thing to do this in competative where people were trying to get pinacle weapons, but in the casual playlist? I just don't see it happening.

              • Not sure it would help , lots of teams going in as 4-5 all with trials adept weapons. Quick play is easy mode for the flawless sweats ….no challenge , no reward ….pure ego stroking 😂

              • At MAX I usually see 2-3 people in a group in Quickplay. A full group of 6 in Quickplay is almost unheard of, or at least I can count on both hands how many times I’ve seen it. Iron Banner, whole other story. 6 stacks make it their mission to put together the most impressive streak possible.

                • a free lance? Bro sorry but the only way you're gonna get a lance in this game is paying for it. Maybe they will introduce new types of melee weapons in the future tho

                  Is this what it’s come to? Begging for a solo que in casual multiplayer. If the no lives feel like sweating there is a simple solution to avoid it just leave. And if you think sweats are not going to be able to stomp you in freelance you’re deluded one sweat instead of 6 it’s all the same.

                      Does anyone know why you can’t see who’s in your pre game lobby when matchmaking in quick play and you can in iron banner? Seems bungie don’t want people leaving so they can get stomped by stacks.

                      • It is needed or force teams to face each other like they did in D1. I dont understand why the actual structure for matchmaking doesnt do as such: Structure of teams are actually based off how many solos and stacked teams are on each first ie 3 stack versus 3 stack with solos on each for the rest Structure of stats of players secondly to determine a balanced playing field for each side Connections balance intertwine within the first and second structure to allow games to have decent connection I feel they need to better QOLs and not focus so much on providing new content. Most the new content is virtually old rehashed content anyways.
