Yo, Bungie get your shit together already. How am I supposed to buy upgrades off of Banshee today? Both options have resources from Titan and Mercury. If you're going to nix content you better have a shopping list of stuff to change further down the pipeline. Where am I supposed to get Alkane Dust or Simulations Seeds? SMH
Update (11/28/2020): Sorry to those folks that lambasted me on not being able to get enhancement cores. I fuct it up. I was actually referring to Upgrade Mods, and not Enhancement cores.
Day 3 and still can't buy upgrades. Why do both options to buy have to be materials from vaulted content? One at least should be existing content sources. This goes to show the lack of innovation and foresight on this dev team. Thank you, for wasting everyone's time!

You do realize you can use bright dust to buy an upgrade module right? Again you do realize you can use your ghost with perks that drop module upgrades again? Or wait wait do you not want to play the game that way and only use one resource avenue and then complain when it’s not in rotation of the said material you have?

I'm down to 10 Simulation Seed, which is completely useless. Not enough to buy anything and no planet to farm more. Wouldn't be so bad if I could simply trade them 1 for 1 for an existing resource.

Oh well, hopefully we get better luck when the vendor resets today. Edit: So the vendors have reset and again both upgrade slots are bought with old DCV materials, well, shit then.

What's funny is that I still have them, they are just not in my inventory. They removed their presence from the inventory and UI but my account still has them in a form invisible currency I can't see.

They need to add master worked gear and weapons into the world loot pool and other activities. All the dungeons should be like PoH and give you either master worked gear or cores and prisms.

Yeah it's a bit annoying when they do that, i thought the old resources were just going to be tradeable to Spider (i dumped all mine into the vendors before the planets got vaulted)

26 RepliesAlso Spider has been selling glimmer almost exclusively for old planetary materials that they told us to get rid of. I've been out of glimmer for a long time and can't get more because some of the Bungie devs are incompetent.

I kept 1000 of each vaulted location and almost all of them are gone now. The spider should never sell anything for old vaulted mats. If banshee needs to sell one upgrade module with vaulted mats the other option needs to not be. Either way you should not be hurting player progression for not having mats from planets that are no longer in the game. I could only imagine how infuriating this is for new light players .

Thankfully this is only happening this season, but agree it never should have offered 2 dead resources on the same day. Bungie is clearly in over their heads.
