As I've calculated, if we do the 6 bounties that grant bright dust each week on all 3 characters and on all 12 weeks of a season, it would result in you doing 216 bounties in that season (not considering event bounties). And right now we're only getting 2700 bright dust in the season pass. If we add all the earnable bright dust in this season it would result in 45900 bright dust
BUT if we do the math's with the changes it's going to lower to 32100!!! How are we going to earn more bright dust when we're LITTERALY going to earn LESS. Please do you math's right bungie I don't want this game to be improved by people who can't do their math's right. I MEAN IT'S JUST CLICKING SOME BUTTONS ON YOU CALCULATOR. YOU ALWAYS DO THINGS WITHOUT CALCULATING AND "ASSUME" THAT IT'S GOING TO IMPROME THE GAME WHEN IT ACTUALLY DOESN'T. WHAT THE HELL BUNGIE?

They said they would ease the supply of Bright Dust by incorporating a weekly goal per account. But it hasn't come yet, and yet Bright Dust was removed from the bounty first. This is silly.

18 Repliesits a change for the majority of the player base. not for a handful grind-happy hamsters
-
Tbh if they don’t change this I ain’t gonna grind out any bounties in the next season
-
6 RepliesIt’s more beneficial for the majority who use one character/don’t grind out the bright dust bounties. The majority is what keeps the game going.
-
19 RepliesLets be real.....most of you guys dont grind out bright dust anyhow.
-
Or raise the amount we get from the random additional bounties.

Can you at least look at making activities reward more XP instead?” Bungie: *cuts the reward of bright dust in half on the weeklies* Players: 🤦♂️ Bungie: *wins another community award*

3 RepliesWhy? Did 200 bright dust was a gamechanger to You?

3 RepliesI know you are all upset. Why don't we play for a little bit. Let's play describe the game Destiny using their guns. Destiny 1: is like a Gjallarhorn - Because elegant and loved by all. Destiny 2: is like a Whisper of the Worm - Because reskins?. . . Yeah, it's the beginning of the copy/paste era. Destiny 2.2 Beyond Light: is like The Cut and Run - Because . . . well, I think that says it all. It's self explanatory. But the Fanbois will not get this and will get triggered. Bungie Logic!

They won't listen when it comes down to silver. THEY. NEVER. WILL.

Probably are not getting enough silver purchases from the so-called casual player. They need more silver purchases from the real addicts of this game. This type of change would clearly target those that play an awful lot.

9 RepliesI only have one character anyway, this will help me out.

I feel like it should be adjusted to 150 so it is slightly worst but slightly better. Might just be me
-
Excuse me sir, you playing 3 characters and earning way to much Bright Dust for our dark Eveverse plans. Its time we change it how its supposed to be "throw the money at your screen".
-
What you doing over the weekend? Only, GOV.UK are telling me there’s only 100 days left to complete my books I could do with your math.
how much do you charge?
2 RepliesThey've been doing this shit forever. Back in D1 they removed the XP boost for completing Nightfalls and just gave a chunk of XP instead. Then tried to tell players that the math basically all worked out the same anyway and in some cases, players actually came out ahead now. Same shit they're doing here. Cut the bright dust reward, but then tell us that "majority of players" are actually better off with the new system. Or, you know, just keep that extra 100 bright dust on the weekly bounties because it's not like it was going to "break" their precious Eververse.

Edited by Yura Dumaz: 10/30/2020 8:46:20 PMIf this doesn't tell you how scummy they are and what they actually care about then you all deserve to suffer through this heap.

2 RepliesNot sure what Bungie is fixing here. If they only wanted to help solo Players, they could have just increased the value you can earn through the Season pass. This looks more to me like there indeed was a significant amount of players who did that weekly hell on all three characters. I surely didn't but otherwise, I don't get that limitation. Destiny is the only Game I know where players who play a lot do not bath in ressources. Message for me is, no matter how much you play, you gotta invest Silver, Guardian. When I started playing, I knew, each week I can choose what I want from Eververse if I have played the Game and did the corresponding quests. I was able to get everything new just because of regular playing the Game. Smh, I smell permanent season of Greed since my return to D2.

I was thinking about this topic myself and was gonna look at season pass for S11 and calculate it. I do know that, not counting event bounties like forest and solstice, we were getting 3600 bright dust across 3 characters' worth of two vanguard, two crucible, and two gambit each week. The repeatables are 3000 glimmer apiece and 10 BD each so in my opinion not worth the glimmer or the effort. With the 200 to 100 nerf you can cut that in half to 1800 BD a week across 3 characters. The season pass BD is a one time thing. After season pass 100 you get a bright engram every 5 levels. The bright engrams don't even guarantee any BD ever since they changed the collections system. I would rather get a guaranteed 100-200 from a bright engram than have a small chance at 250, 500, 1000. Cause 98% of the time you just get nothing from your bright engram.

It looks to me like they're providing what will be the bare minimum in life support to keep people buying Season passes and silver. We're getting Europa now because work had already been done on it when they gave up on D3. We'll see the removed locations come back "revamped" to string players along further when necessary. Just gotta keep the grift going until they finish whatever they were paid to do by that Eastern company.

31 RepliesNow comes the tough question. How many of you were doing all those bounties on every character for each of those activities each week? I sure as hell wasn't lol.
