Again Bungie!?
Way to go Bungie, so trial is so bad of a game mode you have to force people to play? SOH armor has to have 7 trial wins to finish it, way to alienate the casual player again. Only 12 year olds and sweat lords care that much about PVP. When will you understand that the majority of your player base is casual and doesn’t care about trials. If your trying to kill destiny and move on to something else just do it, stop torturing us.

10 RepliesMy opinion, buy the subclass glow ornaments for you main, and forget about the white glow. Nobody is even going to care after the event anyway. Especially when there is new armor coming in Beyond Light.

this game has pier to pier servers what did you think you bought a AAA+ game or something? what did you expect you're basically dealing with indie dev's just trying to throw everything that's already in the game at you as an "event"

Update: took 3 hours of trials. There was me, One was a random, and the other was family. 3 hours.

The armor set glows prove you did every single activity. That is what the whole event is about. Trials is an activity.

It's aall baalls! I've vaulted the armour I could fit and haven't used any of it. I got the class item glow and thought, f this shandy. I feel I wasted my time on the whole 3 sets tbh.

2 RepliesOr or or or or hear me out You have to play it because you have to play everything for Solstice just like the previous two years. Crazy huh? Not like when they first introduced Solstice in 2018 they made it clear their goal was to celebrate EVERYTHING major that YEAR. Trials most certainly was a major thing this year. I mean you had to do a dungeon, master ordeal, nightmare hunt, trials, and altars of sorrow. You didn't even have to do a raid this time. You people complaining about the various PvE and/or PvP requirements in an event thats somewhat endgame in nature and in a game thats clearly designated for both are killing me. You don't want to do PvE don't. Don't want to do PvP? Don't. Just don't complain about not getting everything because you picked a hybrid game.

7 RepliesI did the trials challenge yesterday as an above average crucible player and it took me like 4 hours. The only reward I got? One scout rifle from the bounty. Didn’t even have enough tokens for a package. Such a joke gamemode. Trials sucks.

I would just pass on it, nobody wears that armor when the new season starts. Think about, when is the last time you seen someone wear soh yr 2 armor?
