Not really referring to the element type but the actual armor. Because if I have to re-farm mods one more time I swear that'll be it for farming anything. What would be the point? You're just going to make it useless by the next DLC anyway.
Either that or increase the damn drop rate!!!!

5 RepliesHuh? What re-farming of mods have you done? The only time they EVER made you go back and get mods was to get upgraded armour 2.0 versions which were permanent instead of the single use ones back in the day. You... dont have to refarm any other mods. Besides all other mods from the seasons are guaranteed and/or piurchased and thus not hard to get. Secondly no, there would literally be no point in new armour. Like none at all. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Having all mods on all armour would literally mean you never have to grind another armour set except for light ever again. Which, honestly would just piss off the people who dont like sunsetting even more since if that were the case, they wouldnt even be sunsetting ANYTHING. The entire POINT is so that you dont have last years gear at end-game.

I agree and they need to remove the elemental affinity bs
-
4 RepliesThey need to remove all elements and reduce mods to Kinetic, Energy and Heavy. This game is so overly complicated to drag out the grind. Pisses me off.
-
1 ReplyI hate the fact that certain mods are only available on certain element of armor. Remove elements from armor.
-
QoL updates is not something Bungie is interested in.
-
To be able to put Taken and Fallen Armaments on ANY piece of armor, not just a Riven related or Black Armory related armor. Even Exotic armor. The fourth slot on armor should be universal, and they should add one to exotics, that would fix everything. I'm not bashing Bungie though, I love Destiny, I've made great friends playing it and the fun we have together makes playing worth every minute, and I don't even mind the grind (except for e.g. an exotic sword that does worst than a legendary one).

10 RepliesHey, the GoS set allows you to put on Taken, Hive, and The GoS mods and those are current light level. Hope that helps
-
4 RepliesEdited by Reportmebr0: 8/1/2020 2:55:44 PMThere's no more grind to do, just pew pew pew. Play for F R E E
-
1 ReplyThey should make it so you can have more perks on your ghost as well. It would be nice to have the combo detector for every planet on one ghost shell.
-
1 ReplyYes another good idea from someone who has a brain i mean why do thay even hae armer sets for different sub classes i dont see the point dose it even have an affecton what sub class you have on seriously you should just be able to put what ever mod you want into your armer it just seems like its like that to make it look as if its alot of work for nothig..
-
I'm with you on this. Unfortunately unless the fall dlc changes the game it'll be more of the same. There isn't enough new content available so to pad this out the grind for same (higher LL) weapons, armour and Power level is a cheap and easy way for Bungie to add what they think is content. I still enjoy Destiny but I play what is new and then play other games. Chasing a LL is pointless to me.
-
To be honest I'm suprised this is even an issue in the first place. I mean just the actual process of experiencing this in game is frustrating, restrictive and completely non user friendly. Bungie keep saying they play thier own game - when stuff like this ships and then continues to stay in game, I start to doubt that. If they really want to control the mod economy, then just sunset the mods you don't want to stick around.
-
It would be dope if they used the same system division 2 has, I just love midmaxing my builds
-
this. I can't get a pulse rifle and fusion rifle or AR/Sub build anymore. now I gotta follow whatever the damn mods are and it annoys me.
-
it’s even worse when i go to get this armor that disappearing soon, right, and then i wanna slap a seasonal mod on it. but wait, i actually CANT.
-
Yep it’s ridiculous. It feels so broken. Like a dumb child’s homework he could not even write properly. It’s lame that such a company always delivers work in progress as complete. Always going back to their previous owner’s last statement: “Bungie’s consistent inability to deliver content in quality and time” The most appropriate statement that could be made of how this company works.
-
5 RepliesYou do know the mods are just a way for this company to micromanage how we play right? IMO the mod system is stupid and should be removed and go back to how stats actually mattered.
-
2 RepliesBy sun setting armor they secretly have sun set certain armor mods like the fallen ones, taken ones, and hive ones. This is why they need a universal mod slot.
-
-
Crazy part is some people like this current system, I’ve been arguing with me clan that it truly sucks
-
And allow us to put mods on exotic armour and weapons
-
The element needs to be removed aswell To fully be able to mod your builds freely you need 15 masterworked legendary pieces 5 of each element This is a ridiculous ask and expectation Yes the grinder who can play for 12 hours a day will smerk at this non challenge The average player with 2 hours a day to play literally impossible
-
funnily enough, that change would actually make power creep actually a real thing on armor because we'd be able to stack mods (100% support for your suggestion though) from all the generations
-
I agree that armor should be able to slot all seasonal mods, however I think sunsetting armor is how they are sunsetting those mods. If they could sunset the mods by themselves then they could let all armor slot them. Maybe someday it will happen, but I'm not holding my breath.
