Lenovo Legion Y530 laptop

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Windows 10
16 GB RAM
I didn't expect to be able to play at a stable 60 FPS at the highest settings with these specs and since it's a laptop, but I at least expected to be able to play at the lowest settings at a stable 60 FPS since these specs surpass the minimum requirements. I looked up this issue, and, unfortunately, none of the solutions I found fixed my problems. Of course, I may have just missed something though. Anyway, 'm getting consistent FPS drops when I'm playing on the lowest settings every few minutes or so. What's even weirder is that I'm trying to use GeForce Now to play Destiny 2 to see if that works any better... and I'm running into the same exact FPS issues. Have I done something wrong here? I would think that the GeForce Now setup at least should definitely be able to handle Destiny 2.
