What Weapon Are You Most Angry About Being Sunset?
I still have my first Subtle Calamity from Forsaken, over 77,000 kills on that bow and I still love using it all the time. I use most of the new weapons that come out, but this is my old faithful, never lets me down.

Tiger spit. I just love that auto rifle and it goes well with my gamer tag. I’ve gotten some pretty good rolls on it as well and really hate the notion that I have to get rid of it because Bungie doesn’t like it when I’ve got a choice.

My Blast Furnaces for sure. There’s no replacement 4 round burst pulses. I use them in about 60% of my load outs and my builds were created around using it in the kinetic slot. New pulse is nice but not any where near the same or as good. The only 4 burst that’s not getting sunset is the Sacred Providence which you need to farm through a raid and drops on a great roll is abysmal.

OMG that is the same Weapon I use all the time, I wish the would fix Oathkeepers Exotic to make bows even better, because to he honest END GAME nobody uses bow.... I am also pretty upset about losing my class specific sword Quick Fang. Pinnacles I understand.

Hush, my sweet prince. I underestimated him when I first got him, Then I started using it in Iron Banana and I enjoyed every second of it. I just wish I had more time to play with it, I support weapon sunsetting but this bow shall remain in my heart as one of my many favourite weapons.

3 RepliesMy poor sweet Loaded Question. He never hurt anybody (except for the hordes that he blasted into oblivion). Such a shame that Bungie made 2 pinnacles obscenely broken and instead of just balancing them in a timely fashion they took months and months for each, gave up on the concept of pinnacles entirely, and are now leaving behind not only all the great pinnacles that [u]didn’t[/u] break the game but 90% of our arsenal as well. Just to cover up their failure to balance a couple of guns and a handful of perks. Things were finally looking back up after Forsaken too. What a waste.

They're are a few. I have a really nice Service Revolver I enjoyed. A minty One Small Step. Redrix in general. My godly rolled Night Watch, which I'm trying to replace, without luck. Blast Furnace will be missed. Parcel of Stardust felt nice. Curated Twilight Oath and Bane of Sorrow. I secretly liked Breakneck too, it barely had time to shine.

I am not angry but very disappointed that my Roar Of The Bear rocket launcher will be sunset. I have about 20,000 kills across PvE and PvP with this weapon. It is among my favorite weapons of all time because it is so reliable and it has good tracking.

Not Forgotten, I used the gun as my main weapon even after the Nerf. It's been a good run with it in higher level activities. But hey Hawkmoon is coming back so.....

Anything that is being rehashed. Pointless to waste the coding for weapons that you already have in the game. Other than that. Ill miss my quickfang and Frostmires hex. Those are really the major things ill miss. Bite of the fox came back this iron banner so im set with that.

I’d 100% prefer they bring its damage more in line with other breech-load launchers than sunset it (MT kills Tribute Hall Ogre in 6 shots, every other breechload with spikes takes 8). It was my first sense of accomplishment in this game when getting it. Can’t be matched, hasn’t been since (even getting Not Forgotten). I’m really REALLY sad to see it go. Redrix is a close second though (HIGH IMPACTS JUST GOT GOOD 😭).

My threat level. I got it my first ever run of the raid, and it’s a god roll. It’s the only primary PvE shotgun I’ve used for almost a year and a half now, and it’s not gonna be reissued either because the raid’s also being sunset. Like I understand removing the raid, but why all the loot we got from it too? Makes no sense

My curated spiteful fang. Hunted for a long time to get the right roll and nothing that is moving forward next season even comes close in the primary slot

My favourite weapons are exotics. So right now it’s not the end of the world. Armour sunsetting is WAY more annoying. How does armour cause power creep?
