Destiny 2 is Crashing my whole PC

When I launch Destiny 2 and select my character my PC literally shuts down completely. I have to turn my power supply off then back on to even reboot. I've uninstalled and re-installed several times and i still have the same issue. Ive ran it in full-screen, windowed fullscreen, and just windowed. I've set it to a higher Priority, I've disabled windows game bar and capture. Still nothing. If anyone has a solution id appreciate the help Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x (wraith Prism cooler) 32Gb DDR4 AMD RX 580 8gb OC ROG Strix B 450-F gaming

  • Problem was in last big Windows Update for Technical Preview. I restore last backup, and game work!

  • That sounds like what was happening when I had a dud video card. Complete catastrophic failure. Can you play anything else that uses 3d acceleration?

Hi there! Have you checked to see if you are running the latest BIOS version and GPU drivers? AMD had some issues in the past that required fixes applied by updates to those chipsets. Also, do you receive any blue screen error codes? You can also check your Event Viewer for any Error level messages in your Application logs. That might help pin down any potential crashes that occur.
