Yeah, if I had more time it would’ve been better. Besides the actual Tales of Woe submission deadline, I’ve been trying to stop myself from getting sidetracked off my main writing project (which I haven’t been doing a good job of). Pacing was a little awkward, I didn’t really foreshadow Martha’s memory loss well, didn’t do a great job showing his home situation, and there were plenty of poorly or awkwardly written lines. I had another idea for Tales of Woe, too, with Martha being an old woman, having a flashback to her preschool days. In that version Taco trips out onto the street and gets run over by a car. I decided murdering a preschooler was a little too dark, though..
