None of this compares compared to what our Guardian Protagonist has accomplished.
Some of the other guys struggled to MAYBE kill or weaken a malicious entity or two. Our character slays gods one after another while carrying the entire Vanguard on its back through the Red War.
Even when fully drained of light, our character just had to go touch a shard of the Traveler and everything was a-okay like nothing happened.
Lorewise, we are pretty damn Mary Sue-ish. I wish our characters had more meaningful conflicts and setbacks.

I’d argue that Shadowkeep could’ve/should’ve done something like this. But it would be great to see something like this in the future however.

Edited by Swiftlock: 2/23/2020 7:16:12 AMEh. Shadowkeep felt like a wasted opportunity. Had a few good ideas, but a lot of shortcomings. The first brief, creepy encounter with the Darkness WAS a baby step in a good direction, but it could've been SO much more. There wasn't even a real final boss fight. Total missed chance for a fight with the "Nightmare of Yourself".
