doubt all you want. we are firmly middle class. My dad grew up in a mill town (the mills closed down) my mom grew up as the daughter of an airforce employee (government, am I right?) dad worked for the army, mom worked for the school system. I go to a community college because I apparently am smart enough to get a 90% scholarship. I work full time at a fast food restaurant to support myself. so, we are not poor, but we are not rich.

There's 2 ways to think about rich. Monetary type rich. Or.... more metaphorically. How humanity is kind of a struggle; our experiences have value. Like I'm generally broke as -blam!-. But I've been able to do and see some things others might not have a chance to. To that effect, we may actually be more 'rich' than the monied -blam!-ers.
