Arbalest has Riddled PVP with cancer.
Imagine this. You're me. You decide "oh I'll go knock out some crucible bounties". You refuse to use any one shot weapons in the crucible other than heavy weapons out of principle (like an idiot). You load into a match that's a bit ranged so you throw on a scout rifle. Plot twist: the entire 6 player team opposing yours has Arbalest equipped. Sitting in a corner together down a long corridor. All you can hear is the spamming of the charge up button getting ready for any of your teams heads to peak. The match was still won as they couldn't capture positions from their corner. But it definitely turned me off of crucible for the night as more and more matches are filled with Arbalest. *To clarify this is a complaint about the constant charging and firing of at least 6 arbalests going off in my ears.*

At least it means less unbrokens with a 150hc + mindbenders/sniper

2 RepliesAn dual primary loadout is fine and may not even be a handicap, particularly against a team heavily using special ammo weapons. However, you may have had better luck not challenging am Arbalest with a scout. Maybe get close with a sodearm/SMG or try and quickly build up flinch with a high cal pulse. You had options available to you even with the restrictions you placed on yourself so you could also adapt to the current meta.
