Watched the Season of the Dawn trailer and.... STOP...BRINGING...BACK....D1....PvP MAPS...
Why?
This is a sequel Bungie! People want new content, not recycled PvP maps! Hell even the music from the first game made it into this game...WHY!!?? If you want to bring in new people who haven't played D2 or have left the game entirely stop bringing old maps and old content from D1 instead of folks coming along and playing the game and stating to themselves "Oh, this is back from the first game? Yeah, no thanks"
You're literally listening to the wrong side of the cabbage patch by doing this. This is a prime example why people leave this game! It's time to not put the prime focus on the nostalgia seeking fanbois out there who don't want anything new and can't let go of the past.. Just keep throwing something from the first game and add some cosmetic changes and up-scaling and call it "new content" You guys need to stop humping Bungies leg for old s**t!!! Harsh reality, I know!!!
I've been playing this game from the very beginning and "I" as a veteran player am getting sick and tired of reused content (which also includes old exotics from D1) I'm telling you Bungie, if you stray away from catering to people wanting more of D1 and make more original maps, planets and music you will accomplish greatness!

Truth be told, those D1 maps were designed better for PvP compared to half of the D2 maps being meant for smaller 4v4-like playlists.

Rusted lands is great. I say bring back all D1 maps at once and then start making new ones.

Shores of time and Rusted lands were my two favorite D1 maps, I couldn't be happier it's coming back. Hell, bring them all back IMO!!! The D2 maps were designed for 4v4, D1 maps were designed for 6v6 thus play better in this game.

I agree but rusted lands is a great map, I just wish there would bring back that map that had the bridge in the middle, cant remember the name but loved that map, would of preferred that over twilight crap any day.

Rusted Lands was my favorite D1 map so im good with this. Most D2 maps suck anyway

4 RepliesSpeak for your self. Many of the maps in D1 were fantastic. Your profile seems to be glitching for me so im unsure if you played them. I know many vets thats would love almost all of those maps back.
