Please update prime engrams to drop high stat rolled armor.
Hello,
High stat rolled armor (55+) is difficult to come by, even for the players who are pouring countless hours into the game. Prime engrams, while valuable, have decreased in overall value with the introduction of the artifact and the artifact power level bonus. I think we can add value back into prime engrams by bumping up the stats on armor [b]when [/b]they decrypt into armor. I want to be clear that I don't want prime engrams to [b]only[/b] drop armor.
This change would benefit the entire player base, from the casual to the hardcore, especially since the majority of high stat rolled armor comes from end game activities. Even when we take end game activities into consideration, the chances of armor dropping with a 55+ stat are pretty low. I understand that everyone's RNG is unique to themselves but the majority of people I speak with have had similar experiences.

Just get rid of armor scores. Just layers and layers of RNG.

33 RepliesPrime Engrams are perfect where they right now. Making it +1 or have high stat rolls would make pinnacle activities obsolete and ruin the endgame.

There was a thing on Reddit I thnk where someone suggested using Primes to pull things from collections Like granting a drop I guess.

2 RepliesIt's almost as insulting as the new dungeon loot dropping at 47 - 53 stats just because it is Dreambane and Dreambane is "farmable" .... They literally gave us a reason to not want to do the Dungeon and to not farm Dreambane armor ....

2 RepliesAnother thing is bungie didn’t mention anything but stealth nerfed the quality of the iron banner drops. They were almost always high stat rolls the first iron banner of 2.0.

Players want more activities where they can acquire better high stat rolls on Armor. Bungie already knew this prior to Shadow keep players want more things to chase after they tackle all the content again this game biggest flaw is there is no replayability yet they ignore it. Maybe if we had something like this for the pinnacles more people would be close to 970 without power bonuses. just look at somebody who is 970 at the tower you can literally see they are 970 because of the power bonuses not because of pinnacles. even though pre-launch of Shadow keep bungee advertised Pinnacle activities as basic endgame when you hit true 950 Base gear score you do pinnacle activities to make your based gear score to 960 and then if you want to go higher you use the power bonuses. all of these people who are running as 970 on December 8th when season of the Dawn starts nobody's going to be 970 everybody's going to be 950 or 954 if people grinded Pinnacles this season. I'm just simply saying you are stating one of the issues with this expansion and with other content DLCs. the problem is none of this is going to change because the vast majority of this community rather have a broken game than a balanced game with new items and better features. Example if people open their mouth and talk negative about this game even though it's good feedback the community don't care they just want you to shut up. people like this are just like Bungie they only want to focus on 20% of players these kind of players are hardcore players mindless players. Bungie could literally throw hot dog in their face and they would accept it as content. example a few days ago I had a big debate about a similar topic and some guy told me don't use logic and I told him what you want me to use your stupidity. if people didn't open their mouth at the beginning of Destiny 2 launch this game would still be completely messed up.

3 RepliesHonestly, the low stats of almost every drop in the game is sad. I rarely get anything above 55, let alone 60. Most of my 60+ came from IB.

There needs to be a system added where we can improve stats on gear weather that's re rolling gear or something else leaving it up to RNG is making this system even more of a failure than it is, I've played a lot an I've not come across a single bit of gear across 3 characters worth taking higher than rank 7 an I've also noted raid gear that was dropping high stats at the beginning of the season is now drop 55-60 I've seen nothing higher since the first 2 weeks everything is low end stats.

Yeah I think I can agree with that. They need to be more valuable as either drops or as methods for improving existing gear (maybe use a Prime to increase stats on an existing piece) or obtaining 'random' items from collections. Basically something better than a boost from soft cap to hard cap.

That's why we have seasons now. The wait isn't as long to do it all over again and it gives the working family man the possibility to actual reach a high LL. Win win for everybody.

5 RepliesThe real question is: WHY DID BUNGIE MAKE RUNES OBSOLETE? I mean they must have worked hard to make mobility or recovery runes now drop full resistance gear. Was that intentionally made to shit on players? Yeah! Bungie loves to poop on those that throw money at the screen.
