Belief≠Religion
Atheism is a belief of the lack of existence of god or a supernatural force. I say this again, religion and atheism are polar opposites. It is by definition impossible for atheism to be a religion.
I will end this by saying this again, belief [u]IS NOT[/u] the same as religion.

A religion is by definition a set of beliefs(noun, not verb)(also I never said belief alone) And religions have to explain origins of humans(and earth), which atheism does.

So by your argument believing space aliens are controlling the planet is now a religion. I say this again, a religion is a set of beliefs that support the existence of a supernatural being. Not a base set of beliefs, if it was, there’s now the religion of Ghost Bucket because I have my own set of beliefs. All of which are my own.

I’m not disagreeing with you. I’m just saying that atheism matches all the requirements [u]except[/u] the supernatural part.
