Please bring back glass needles so we can reroll exotics for a chance at better stats and different elemental affinity

9 RepliesKnowing pvp players and how they love their "god rolls" and this new Bungie, they would way overprice it like Spider with the increasing cost to buy cores, the tribute hall that was way overpriced, Evererse that is way overpriced, masterwork items that is way overpriced, etc... and knowing just like the festival of cost to reroll the reskinned Warmind weapon? It will be overpriced and there will be a lot of crapy rolls so you blow through whatever glimmer/material you have. Then comes the posts, "Bungie, can you increase the chances of getting more whatever material it will cost, and increase the cap for glimmer, it's too expensive".

Needed now more than ever. The elemental affinity is a tremendous pain in the ass

1 ReplyNot sure about how I feel about being able to re-roll exotics, it would be too easy to get one out of collections and just re-roll until you got a god roll. However, I think it would be reasonable to have a system to change the element affinity, maybe at the cost of an Ascendant Shard. This would give players the ability to use the exotics they want, but still give opportunity to chase for the god rolls they want.

Yes please👍

Oh yeah, I remember those! I’d welcome them back, especially given the extra currencies just introduced. But also get rid of elemental affinities. 😁

1 ReplyStats can be build around. Yes, certain exotics ‘ideally’ wants to be spec around a certain stat bit still, there is enough freedom and customizing in that sense that good builds come from them. That said the element affinity can be problematic sometimes. I’ve put a possible solution on another thread speaking of this. How about we can chance an exotics affinity at the cost of 5000 glimmer? Like with applying mods, this way you can decide and use the exotic how ever you want, but it will be costly so you need to ‘think’ about it. 😉

Knowing Bungie, they'll try put them into Eversverse again.

5 RepliesElemental affinity should t be on exotics. They should come with the element they’re designed for. The fact they’re not shows how truly clueless bungie are
-
2 RepliesDoesn't that happen anyway when you pull it from collections?
