Steam Destiny 2 Not Working, Says I have to Verify Game Files
When I try to launch D2 on steam, an error message pops up and says I have to verify game files in properties. I've done this twice already and nothing so far, same message pops up when I try to launch.

2 RepliesThe people who are still having this issue. Is your Steam folder located in "Program Files (x86)"? Try copying your Destiny folder somewhere else (anywhere). Then uninstall steam and install it again to C:\Games\Steam - OR WHATEVER YOU LIKE - As long as the (x86) is not in it - NO BRACKETS. Once steam is installed - Copy your Destiny 2 folders to steamapps\common\ - if common folder is not there, create it. Go into Steam and install Destiny 2 - It will discover existing files and you will not have to download the game again. Hopefully this helps some people still having the issue.
