Wisper of Worm and Zero Hour is the worst experience for solo player ever.

If you are not giving us matchmaking for this activities as it was on revelry event for example, then at least give us rewards for solo completions. I am tired be searching teammates by myself for play your game.

Why I should spend hours sitting on the forums or other sites to play your game?
Ok. It is possible to complete this missions alone if you spend hours to do the same boring and stupid thing. But for what? For gun?
Will this gun made such activities less annoying and boring? Or Destiny 2 is just my second job?
I don’t understand why you don’t want to give us matchmaking? Is this some trick with forcing people to make long relationships between players around your product to make stronger retention?
Ok. This is fine for raids but not for strikes with timer.
Make matchmaker for any activities like this OR double the timer for solo OR leave things like they are now for these 2% “pro players” in your community who proud that they have skill to play this game or easy find a fireteam.

18 RepliesYou’re on Battlenet. PC. If you can afford a PC nice enough to handle Destiny 2, I find it hard to believe you can’t afford an Apple or Android phone. And even if you don’t, there are Android emulators for PC. Bluestacks is a fantastic one. There’s a companion app for Android and Apple. With a Destiny LFG. Made by Bungie for Destiny. Takes two minutes to find a team. Less time than it takes to type out this forum post to complain about how something in this game is so bad.

I would have to disagree with whisper. I can almost solo it. During the right burn week I probably could. And eventually outbreak will be easy enough to solo. I know there are some that can already. At first I was quite upset about the jumping puzzle for outbreak. I even considered leaving the game for a bit. But after finding the right players on the fireteam app we were able to get it done. Just be patient. You may not get the gun right away. I didnt get whisper right away. I waited. I'm still doing the whisper catalyst. These missions are around permanently. So you can do then seasons from now.

1 ReplyThere is no way you spent hours trying to find a team. There are literally 30+ posts as we speak of people looking for players to run this mission. I couldn't even join a team fast enough when i did it, that is how quick people were already joining the posts on the app. If that doesn't work make your own post looking for 2 people and i guarantee it will fill in a matter of minutes. I could see your argument if it really was hard to find a team, but since this mission is only a week old, it is all i see on the "find a fireteam" section of the app. Keep trying man, the gun is totally worth the trouble.

There are so many open spots in the fireteam section for you to do Prime! Maybe the whisper it will be harder but still you can put a request there, now how bout your clan!? It’s almost 80 strong! What no one plays in mother Russia?

7 RepliesI like all the people who say “find a team” when 3 hours after it dropped people were already posting “KWTD”, it’s basically the same situation since Crota and “Must have Gally”. The reason this games on its last legs.

I am sorry but I disagree. Look, this game requires you to get a team at certain points. Shoot, Nightfall Strikes require you to get a team. These challenges stretch us solo players and that's fine with me. I play 95% of this game and D1 solo. I have done a few Raids, WOTW and now ZO with teams and yes, there have been bogus teammates. Mean ones even. And not every run of WOTW or ZO went how I wanted. But eventually it worked out and some of the most satisfying events for me in Destiny happened when I ran with some randoms to complete a challenge. I was so pumped about getting Outbreak Perfected I wanted to tell co-workers about it, haha. But then I realized I am 42, a high school teacher and they would have no idea what I am talking about. So I told a few students instead, it was awesome.

And being a mostly solo player myself, I'd much rather be on a team with people I know or put together with intention to tackle these things than to rely on complete random strangers that more often than not would waste my time or be talking crap in my ear. This is one of those examples where automatic matchmaking does not make more sense.

While I get it's team oriented and difficult for a reason. It should still offer matchmaking. IMO Its a huge design flaw that has plagued Destiny since D1. Should always have the option.

Maybe because these activities are END GAME level activities that wern't developed with the concept of SOLO GAME PLAY in mind.

1 ReplyI am a solo player and i completed both whisper and outbreak missions by finding a team in the " find a fireteam" section of this app. Just have to show an initiative to get it done. For outbreak we didnt even use mics and got it our first attempt. So you are choosing not to want to attempt getting the weapon. There are hundreds of posts as we speak looking for players for the outbreak mission.
