Eh, Skolas was not a Dreg. Not at any point. After being gifted to the Nine and awakened from his stasis, he referred to himself as a Dreg, but he was speaking out of shame, saying he was worthless and docked like a Dreg (he was not literally docked. It’s an expression)

Edited by Combat Mind: 2/7/2019 7:23:33 AMWhich is true (about Skolas), but I’m pretty sure Fallen aren’t “born” into Kells or Captains. They have to grow up, via the Dreg -> Vandal -> Captain -> etc. process.

True, they have to earn their ranks. But Vandal is the basic. You have to be demoted to become a Dreg. Also, Skolas may have started with a higher rank than normal, since he was of noble blood

Definitely a possibility, but we don’t really have pure proof that he did or not. At the very least, he had the body structure of a Dreg at one point, as he grew up.
