Luna’s howl and NF are just copy/paste of lord high fixer from D1 and i feel cheated
I don’t actually feel cheated but it would be sick if Bungie could do just a little less copy and pasting and come up with some original designs
*EDIT* like i said i don’t actually feel cheated, some of you missed the joke as it soared high over your craniums. I was just making light of the fact that destiny and bungie are masters of the reskin, rehash, rework. Chill your bungoboners. All i asked for was less weapon reskins or “throwbacks” as some would say.

All is subjective but i DEEPLY dislike 180s and i hope that TLW will be same as in D1 (its know to be 180 too) They reminds me HC from COD like a toys :)

I dunno i dont mind them reusing models if it means an overall abundance of loot in the game. Just because i imagine creating a new weapon from scratch costs a ton more so it makes it more reasonable for reskins to be a thing. How ever there needs to be new stuff accompanying the reskins otherwise it leaves a bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

At least Lord High Fixer was a great HC! I’m okay with certain weapons like that being copy and paste because they were memorable and really good.

My personal philosophy is that these pinnacle weapons should be 1, harder to get than they are now, 2, better than they are now, and 3, nerfed into the ground at the end of each season. Otherwise everyone will get them and they'll be the only thing you see anyone using.

2 RepliesEveryone's playstyle is usually the same across all games. On average, people tend to like using guns with average rpms and easy recoil. If you ask me, 180 rpm is the standard of most revolvers across other fps shooters.

yep. and AoS is copy paste of a blue hand cannon in Y1 D1. It was called hard luck mk 52.

The only reason I feel cheated by this game is because there aren’t any fun objective game modes in crucible. I like fancy looking weapons and armor, but I’m not really one to complain about that. I’m more concerned about the entertainment I get from the gameplay.

1 ReplyThat's the line you drew to feel cheated? I mean I get it I guess, that was a lot of time spent to grind out, they could have at least made a new model for it. I'd say 70% of D2 was a reuse of D1 models, they are the world leader in recycling. Hell, just look at how much of the annual pass involved going backwards and doing existing content.

9 RepliesAsset flipping is common in games, reusing assets saves time, money and works for continuity. Bungie do it alot but the embarrassing thing is even with all the copypasta the lootpool is a lootpuddle. They obviously have a limited number of modellers and artists and Eververse I'm sure contributes to wasting time better spent on game play rewards.

Loved the LHF from D1 and Nifty Biscuit...I know nothing about Luna's Howl or Not Forgotten. God roll Eyas-luna...yep had a couple of those too...still have them as a matter of fact.
