Is that the same Drystan as from the Anguish of Drystan rifle. Given that Awoken have an... exceedingly long lifespan, I believe it's possible.

Having read the part three you just posted, I realized that I misremembered the lore text. I got into my mind at some point that the Anguish of Drystan was the raid sniper, Defiance of Yasmin, and that Yasmin's quote had been said by Drystan. Regardless of my apparently bad memory, thank you anyway for the initial answer.
