You get an occasional legendary but you'd find more on patrol. After the Avalanche and sparrow I haven't had anything worthwhile. Oh and 1 powerful engram after 12 deliveries or something.
Might be something drops with sparrow upgrades? But that grinds not for me.

I was expecting new things to see, but even after 60 something times of doing this it's no different then the normal grind. I bet the one you get for Xur is a blue as well. Will see though because all I see was Bungie adding an event just to switch up what we have been doing for months and that is not cool at all.
