Mountaintop Quest Favors Hunters
I’m mostly talking about the double kills, not the medals and kills in general. Single shot launchers have a one shot mag with terrible reload time. Basically, in order to get a double kill, you need to either hog heavy ammo w/ a colony or play of the game or get an immediate kill after reloading after a first kill...
...unless you’re a hunter.
Hunters have a mobile dodge ability the RELOADS THE FREAKING GUN. And i don’t wanna hear any little kids crying about how titans and warlocks have that reload ability w/ rally barricades or lunafaction rifts. That’s stuff’s stationary, and you don’t get into fights by standing still. Hunters can move around while they instantly reload their weapon with an ability that recharges twice as fast as any barricade or rift (not to mention 6th coyote and that crap).
This is unfair bungie. Please do something about it

2 RepliesOr, you could do what most people are doing, and use a Militias Birthright and Fighting Lion. Swapping weapons is faster than reloading.

Hunters can shoot a breech grenade launcher 2-3 times without actually have to reload with dodge. Titans can unload the whole reserve with barricade. Warlocks can unload the whole reserve with lunafaction boots and well of choice. Hunters blamed for being OP?

The fact that dodge reload is unfair is -blam!-ing stupid. “Oh no we get to reload once with a dodge” Learn to grow up. It doesn’t favor hunters. Rift with lunafaction is much better if you also use empowering. -

Correct, the best way to get double kills is with heavy grenade launchers. This doesn't favour Hunters.

1 ReplyTitans can hide behind a WALL while they AUTORELOAD. Warlocks are in a HEALING RIFT that AUTOLOADS their gun or even better....in a damage rift so they can instakill with proximity.

2 RepliesHunters can make better use of the ammo they initially spawn with. Warlocks and Titans can save up ammo and unload it much quicker. It balances out. Most Hunters wouldn’t run Sixth Coyote(much better exotics in general) so don’t tell me that all the classes wouldn’t use an exotic or abilities to increase their chance of getting GL kills.

Is it just me or do single shot grenade launchers feel inconsistant, ive had multiple direct hits that's done next to nothing, im not good with grenade launchers but still

Yeah, no. I did the entire quest on my titan because of barricade and lion rampants.

I've done most of it on my Warlock. Fighting Lion + Play of the Game Well of Radiance / Empowering Rift Luna Factions. Lane camp and fire away

I'm saving my hunter to continue the quest. I've got to 42% double kills so far, mostly using my titan. I've seen some amazing hunters stacking up the gl kills, dodging, reloading militia's etc. I'm hoping I can do the same thing lol. Titan and warlock are done for the week, hunters up next. Come on you dirty, filthy skank hunter, get my quest done 😊
