Well it looks like after all these years the ball has finally started rolling on Bethesda facing some consequences for who they've become since the late 2000's.
As much as I love the Elder Scrolls series and Fallout 3 some kind of action against Bethesda has been needed for years and it looks like Fallout 76 is the straw that finally broke the camel's back.
Hopefully finally, after all these years, they remember that their customers put them on top of the success mountain, and if they don't respect us we can kick them off too 👍🏻

7 RepliesAngry entitled gamers are always hilarious to me. If devs don't meet all their wildest expectations you better believe they're gonna cry about it. Bethesda released gameplay and a letter telling players to temper their expectations and still there's an uproar that this game isn't amazing. And if some players have technical issues it sucks, but obviously Bethesda won't leave the game like that forever. Remember when Arkham Knight was literally unplayable on PC? No one gave a shit, but because this is Bethesda they need to be sued and taught a lesson. It's laughable.

8 RepliesI would be pissed but it’s pc gamers getting that shaft so it honestly makes me happy. Just like when they couldn’t get Batman to work.
-
2 RepliesA message needs to be sent not just to Bethesda but to the Gaming Industry itself. You better believe other developers are paying close attention to this.
-
2 RepliesBethesda said many times that Fallout 76 was a side project...

Better hurry, or most of their points will be moot. https://fallout.bethesda.net/article/6OWNNxTBMAsMmIwGOs8U8/fallout-76-inside-the-vault-november-27-2018

Their goals with the game are incredibly transparent if you bother to actually think. I mean just here you can see they made their own launcher and avoided selling it on steam for this simple reason. Hope triple aaay crashes and burns, because it's not just Bethesda.

Misleading title you got there as the law firm is only investigating and has not even mentioned if they have anything to pursue legal action yet or at all.

16x the detail All of our studios working on this MASSIVE GAME

6 RepliesIf anything, I think this is a bad idea. All it's going to accomplish (if anything) is teach developers "Don't step out of your comfort zone. Don't innovate."

Don't think they have a case but it's deserved.

5 RepliesEdited by blade329: 11/28/2018 2:32:15 AMAs much as I would love to see Bethesda punished for this train wreck of a game, I'm not sure this is going to go anywhere. Hopefully, I'm wrong. This is such a lazy ass pathetic company. A modder fixed their game menu in three days after release. That's right, a modder. Three years in development and Bethesda couldn't be bothered to adjust it. This is unacceptable.

1 ReplyDo me a favor, have whoever is filing this lawsuit do it to EA and Activi$ion while we’re at it!

Yeah. One of my favorite games of all time may be Bethesda published, but this has been a long time coming

This's going to be thrown out.

4 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 11/27/2018 3:34:00 PMBethesda has been cranking out half-baked games (in terms of coding, quality-testing, and game play) for years. Nice to see they're finally being held accountable. "Its not a bug...its a feature." No. Its a bug, and its always been a bug.

4 RepliesEdited by Smash House Breck: 11/27/2018 5:52:50 PMLet’s be real, this lawsuit probably won’t change anything. It will settle out of court if it makes it that far, and depending on the deal (which will more than likely be just a series of refunds), they won’t even have to change anything.
Here is their return policy: https://gear.bethesda.net/pages/return-policy
1 ReplyI don't see it working out when it hasn't before. These gaming companies have their own lawyers that help them get by to avoid/win these scenarios. At best Bethesda simply puts more effort on the refunds. At worst this get tossed out and nothing happens.
