Bungie,
Why is your RNG completely skewed to awards drops with items that are already owned? This is such crap. I just spent literally 1,000 crucible tokens to get my Titan guantlets to complete the set and do the bounty for powerful gear.
Literally with ever single gear set that I have completed (which is all of them) from D2 launch and onward, I have had to get everything 2-3 times first before I get the last item to complete the set. This has held true for every set I have that in which I was able to use tokens. This is ABSOLUTE CRAP.
Your RNG should not be skewed towards items ALREADY EARNED! The math proves you are doing this crap to keep "players engaged." There should be more of a skew towards those that have not been earned.
Time to fix your RNG across the board because you are going to lose a whole lot more players than you already have. People will get bored earning the same crap over and over.
Here we are approaching the end of Season 4 and I have 0 new random wild exotics from Forsaken. The only ones I have are those through quests. This is COMPLETE GARBAGE! Your RNG is a garbungle. Do you know what a garbungle is? It is a bungle of garbage.
It is time to address this and completely change the RNG across everything. At this rate, I will have finally earned every exotic from Forsaken by the time D3's life is over.
Thanks, Bungie. Big thanks.
Sincerely,
A fed up D1 beta, day 1 player that has had it with this crap

The only Exotics I get in this game are from bright engrams.
-
I gave up on exotics lol got tired of trying and being disappointed
-
What I am understanding from this is that we need a fusion rifle nerf?

1 ReplyNearly everything in this game is linked to RNG, including ammo drops. I did a daily story mission a few days ago, every other enemy dropped heavy ammo, I’m not exaggerating, it was like it was Christmas, I wasn’t wearing any heavy ammo finder, only special, of which very few dropped. Is this RNG working as intended or is this system completely broken?
-
Been the same since D1, they obviously don't care.

I perceive I have experienced the same thing. If I recall, I couldn't get Crucible or Vanguard arms for weeks, no matter how many tokens were turned in. Then suddenly they both dropped as powerful rewards.
Your RNG should not be skewed towards items ALREADY EARNED! The math proves you are doing this crap to keep "players engaged."
I think you are correct - it seems there are certain items in a set that are heavily weighted with low RNG. Makes you keep playing the same activity longer than you normally would. I think this happens with weapons as well. Couldn't get a Duke Mk.44 for weeks but once I got the first, I immediately got a second and a third. An exception to this for me was the Iron Banner gear. It dropped for me on all three toons in what seemed like a relatively normal distribution.

2 RepliesEdited by DJMC2: 11/16/2018 6:19:15 PMcan't you just buy the stuff after getting enough of his engrams? am i thinking of the wrong thing?

I have been playing from day 1 of forsaken release and till now so far I just got one exotic except quest line exotics. I came to understand one thing from all these if you start streaming this game on youtube like others do and promote so called great game of bungie than you might have higher chance of getting what you want. Mostly youtube streamers are PC and they have higher fps so they can deal more damage and faster sprint. They made this game for PC gamers and for console player they dont give any shit from which they made millions.

22 RepliesEdited by Talk2MeToner: 11/16/2018 6:23:03 PMNot sure when you first made this but it looks recent and you're wrong it is changed to be just the opposite. PS idk what you're playing but I have over 10 now and two characters at 600 from playing very casually. All yours are in the 580s for some reason. Maybe focus on one for a little and it will et drops. My Titan has barely gotten drops but my lock has gotten tons because I killed thousands of enemies on it.

I just spent literally 1,000 crucible tokens to get my Titan guantlets
I'm truly sorry but you did this wrong. Did the same thing for my Hunter when Forsaken first dropped, had over 1,100 vanguard tokens and did I get the boots? No. I found out later you need to spread out turning in your tokens over days, even a week, to get all the drops.

5 RepliesOne of my wheelie bins has a small crack on the lid, I suspect this was caused by the bin men, but cannot be sure. It's possible that it was one of my neighbours that caused this, possibly by knocking it over with their car, or it could just have been strong winds that blew it over. Not that we get such strong winds much, but from time to time they do happen. Either way, it doesn't concern me much, nor does it keep me awake at night. But you know what? Sometimes, just sometimes, and by sometimes I mean very occasionally, I ponder, and think to myself, what did cause that small crack in the plastic on my wheelie bin lid? 🤔

7 RepliesThey have the most rigged loot system, it was prevalent in D1 as well. Not everything in this game is truly random there is absolutely an algorithm to it. The way it’s designed though is if you never give up you will get what you want people cried about never getting gally, meanwhile they had less than 15 raid competitions which gally dropped like candy from

2 RepliesI'm perplexed by your idea of math. If there are 20 items in a loot pool and you own 19 of them then of course you're going to get a lot of duplicates.
-
2 RepliesI just spent 300 resonate stems, which adds to a total of over 1,000 since Warmind came out, and i still don't have the sidearm. RNG is fine.........😠😠😠
-
6 RepliesI hear ya man, they just dont get it, people will leave if they get the drops or not, all I want is to be able to play with the exotics or stuff that we want at hand, after a zillion hrs played and even made a second Titan I cannot get the ursa furiosa gauntlets for the life of me, this is not a fair system
-
How else are they supposed to drag out the hunt for gear other than this cheap nasty unfair way. I've had 1st timers enter a game and land a new rare exotic, when I've put in hundreds of hours looking for it, it's wrong and makes zero sense, roll on Anthem I'll be outta here.
-
RNG always leans towards shit players.
-
i have 3 chars at 600 now and havent had an exotic in weeks. maybe a month. at this rate it will be 2023 by the time i get them all.
-
I said this about VoG but I was told to shut up and worship it.

1 ReplyFor the past month I've been struggling with my collections... EVERYTHING I've been doing in the Dreaming City has been giving me the same crap armour I already have, as well as being lower than my current gear. ...No wonder its called the 'Dreaming City'... You're dreaming. Dream on about getting a higher powered item or an item you haven't already gotten 1,000,000 times... Grinding is not fun. Grinding is what makes me get bored of a game, not want to play it and regret spending $100... God what have I done...

8 Repliesthis post proves you don't know anything about what you are doing. if you turn them in at one time you have the same loot pool in the engrams each turn in. turn them in at varied times in smaller portions to get what you want. how have you played since D1 beta and don't know something so basic?
-
"We want you to grind your lives away playing a single video game, much like streamers (who should great real jobs) and tryhard no-life gamers do." - BUNGIE not really

Thanks bungie.

RNG is bae

Couldn't agree more
