Not saying you're wrong, but do we actually have a way of quantifying that? I kinda feel like that's the same as saying "this is the best time to be alive."

Even "cavemen" were still tribal in the fact that they would war with others that weren't in their "tribe".. now that still happens but not on the level as the past.

Define "natural competition". Everything we are capable of is due to our intelligence, given to us by nature. When did we transcend nature? When we tamed fire? Invented the spear? The wheel? The Bow? Gunpowder? Or are we still part of the system?
