Destiny 1 had materials with names like "Ascendant Shard" and this is the best you can come up with? I get that you wanted to change it from masterwork cores to reflect the changed purpose of the materials as they're now used for infusion (imo still a bad decision to have them there) but would it really be hard to come up with something interesting for them with lore behind it? Like call them "Byfordium fragments" where Byfordium is a material from another plane of existence that can work as a catalyst when forging light-infused materials.
