You actually dont have to get your 5000 to get your Clan Engram. As long as the Clan gets it you should still get your engram. You may not get one for the Challenge but you should still get Clan Engrams from Clan mates success. Yeah I know. Kind of suks not being able to help out your clan mates as much but what can you do. There was not a single PVE bounty for PVE clan rewards this week. I thought that kind of strange normally we have at least 1. But none? So Ill drag me butt into Crucible tonight and take my beatings for the clan. But keep in mind in this community you will always be seen as the whiner that doesnt want to do PvP. Just how it is.
EDIT: (Just noticed below you stated your the only one in the Clan, that could make this irrelevant then) Sorry about that. Check DoD Iron Orange has several always looking for new peeps.

Wait, if he's the only one in the clan, he can't have a clan. They require at least 3 members to be registered and if he's the only one playing in his clan, he can't do the bounties that require playing with clanmates either. Regardless of whether they're for PvP or PvE.

In the only active one in my clan. Pretty much the same thing.

Yeah probably wont work to well. Get in another Clan bud and get your gear! Kill many and Die often!
