Because you know you couldn't invade or do the game mode with any other weapon. I just LoL everytime an invader comes in with a sleeper haha, it's trash trash trash. Git Gud scrubs because you know if you had to use something else you know you wouldn't be able to compete. So GG Sleeper noobs you keep using that weapon because you know it's the most broken Over powered weapon in the game.

1 ReplyMap awareness and not standing in the open when a invader comes will save your life. Crying about it wont.
-
Sorry dude, but these posts are dumb. Using the best tool for the job is just smart play. And I don't really see a lot of it. I suppose if I get put to sleep more often my salt level will increase but it ain't there yet. And your wording only makes you look bad.
-
2 RepliesOh shit I’m trash I better not use it anymore. Or maybe no to hell with it I don’t care, I’ll keep zapping, you keep dying. You do have the option to fight back or hide, but if you think ignoring the invader and standing out in the open is best so be it.

1 ReplyLeveling from 12,000 to 15,000 points is particularly annoying. I always used tracking rockets. Solo casual player style here. Realized losing game after game gave you zero points from 12k to 15k. In 15,000 points total playing solo, not once did I get a bygones to drop. Not once did I get a hand cannon to drop. Not once did I get a new exotic. Switched to Sleeper. Suddenly, I have 10 army of one metals, all with sleeper. I started winning games. I now have a bungie rolled master-worked hand cannon for a 15k reset. I have been cross-mapped sniped hundreds of times with that laser beam so many times carrying mores, I’ve earned the right to wield the same weapon in return to get my reward. I’m not trash. I just wanted my hand cannon. Am I back to tracking rockets, casual play now that I have the reward I feel I earned? Yes. I’m happy with it. But don’t think I’m here to waste my time losing with shitty drops and zero points.

Edited by Trash Boat: 10/7/2018 12:13:38 PMWell. I’ve been enjoying the sleeper since I got it back in Destiny 1. It’s always been one of my favorite weapons. And it’s a damn shame that no thumb crybabies like OP will probably end up getting it nerfed into the ground. A team wipe with an auto rifle is as easy as a team wipe with the sleeper for me. So I’m not sure. How trash am I?

4 RepliesIt's not the gun. It's scrubs like you who don't take cover when an invader comes in. I bet you're one of those players that just stays out in the open with their 15 motes and gets melted and loses motes do to stupidity.
-
Ok so as an experiment last night I used the whisper instead of the sleeper, my findings are the same, noobs just don’t pay attention when they get the invader warning. Boom dead bar one or two occasions.
-
3 RepliesAnother tired old sleeper post. All you posted for was to get a reaction. Just get over it. If Bungie nerfs sleeper it'll just be tracking rocket launchers next.
-
Edited by Ramirenzo: 10/6/2018 3:27:24 PMI'm using it because Bungie is forcing me into this shitty game mode to get the malfeasance and what chance do I have of scoring 4 kills in 30 seconds against people that have an advantage in distance, numbers and firepower other than to use the sleeper? If you don't want people using meta weapons a good start is to stop shoving people into gambit who hate pvp and telling them to go get an army of one.
-
2 RepliesIt’s is the most overpowered weapon in Gambit, which is why not using it is foolish of your goal is to win Gambit games. Some players can make the argument they are so good with their favorite heavy that they don’t need to run it, and that’s fine. For the average player though you’re just making life harder for yourself. Some people like that but it doesn’t make it more noble or whatever other mentality spawns this type of post.

The Sleeper wrecks face but so does that new Raid weapon and Holy Crap so does The Two Tailed Fox
-
I use sleeper, I will tell you why......because infusion cost so many mw cores, that I only upgrade my sleeper or whisper, for pve, in pvp most kills are from prime and secondary, so guess what guns I have.... Whisper and sleeper.......what one would you select for gambit?

Like some guy around the forums said - i may be trash, but you’re the one dying and failing your team (c)

1 ReplyEdited by Brandon: 10/6/2018 9:53:31 AMMy prey calls for me, I smell your fear of red beams, You become free elo. A haiku for your troubles, your irrational fear of Sleeper Simulant.
-
wow this bandwagon came in late for you. glad you jumped on it though.
-
Sleeper users have no style or imagination.
-
Imagine if the laser pierced walls. LoL!
-
How trash am I?! I'll let you in on a little secret...
My neighbor's name is Oscar.
-
I'll be looking for your name. Hopefully I'll get to blast you from across the map and lol.
-
3 RepliesI felt bad and let up a bit with the Sleeper early on, but at this point I know when I invade there’s four Sleepers looking back at me, and that’s the way it is right now We’ll see if the ammo reduction leads to innovation elsewhere, but right now it’s four shots of instant death for four players full of motes
-
Ppl play to win. You cant blame em for taking the ez route. Ppl will always use whats ez. Thats why we have METAs. I dont like dying to it either. But stop acting like you have to proof yourself to the enemie team. I replaced my sleeper with. Queenbreaker, malfea and black talon(it can tank a sleeper shot when you block). If forsaken exotics dropped more often i would have replaced it sooner.
-
Sorry, I can’t hear you over the bosses melting and your whining.
-
5 RepliesIt’s a heavy weapon... they all one shot...
-
LOLz, sounds like the typical cries from someone who got stung many times over and over by the sleeper. You probably have some sort of ptsd hearing the word “invader” and seeing something glowing red. LOLz, thanks I need a good laugh.
-
1 ReplyI invade with sleeper but I bet I would be able to kill you with any other weapon regardless.
-
1 ReplyI only used it for the 25 kills I needed for malfeasance
