Probably because Destiny draws great influence from both and from all over the world. If you're listing off influences taken you'll eventually have to start crossing from regional to religious to perhaps scientific and philosophical. Plenty of places I could see this going.

These are technically culture posts so it mentions all references to cultures whether its historical or religious.

I get that. My observation is still valid. They were all regional before, now they're religious.

To be fair, the post bout Indian/Hindu was in essence religious. Westerns seem to feel like Hinduism is a culture rather than a seriesof Religious ideas and Dieties.
