currently with the most annoying modifiers for these strikes make them harder then a nightfall. Also the fact that a lot of people don’t even bother taking note of the modifiers and running the appropriate load outs etc make it even worse. The heroic strike playlist needs to be reverted back to D1 style with modifiers etc including strike specific loot.

1 ReplyI used to never leave strikes... now I leave a large majority simply because I don't feel like running around with randos who don't read... strikes used to be my addiction, not so much as of late...
-
1 ReplyI honestly don't mind heroic strikes as much as a lot of people seem to. My biggest problem is getting stuck with the stupid twats who only want to speed run every strike on the list no matter the modifiers. Those players who try endlessly to run through groups of enemies without giving them the time of day, and/or think they need to bring their sparrow every where they go.

Edited by ELRaSun: 6/23/2018 7:17:45 PMJust make singes into burns again. Get Glass TFOH. And make the indication of the modifiers TEXT instead of bubbles they have to hover over (ppl don’t pay attention).
-
7 RepliesThe craziest thing happened to me this week. For 3 strikes in a row I had competent teams who all used solar weapons and subclasses.
-
Couldn't agree more.
-
Add BURN back. Not this singe shit
-
1 ReplyI generally wait till modifiers are favorable, Iron I don't mind it, Blackout I avoid, Glass is ok if other players play in a more cautious approach, but most go in and get themselves killed. I agree on the loadouts, tyr and use weapons that favor the singe. They need more modifiers like Small Arms and Specialist from D1, Daybreak would be awesome to see come back.
-
1 ReplyThe problem is that the advantage modifiers are mostly useless. Heavyweight is the only one that makes a difference. Meanwhile, the disadvantage modifiers mostly make it so you die in one or two hits. Heroic Strikes were more fun in D1, like most things.

1 ReplyEdited by Tis-but-a-scratch: 6/21/2018 2:51:20 PMSinge is worthless, thats why people ignore it.

4 RepliesEdited by Sneekoth: 6/21/2018 4:15:15 AMI will say my wife likes Destiny 2 better than She liked Destiny. Because I play it way less. I want bounties, machine guns, and for stikes to be fun again so I can start doing them again. Used to run all 3 of my guardians through the 3 solo/duo pve milestones each week flashpoint, strikes, clan. I still do flashpoint with my Titan usually complete clan and usually break up my strikes over a couple of weeks. I did flashpoint and clan with my warlock last week. Haven't taken my Hunter out since the expansion dropped. I still have as much time to play. It's just that this expansion sucked out 1/2 of the fun they left when they replaced destiny with this game. Added unfun activities and ruined strikes. This game was about 1/4 as fun as Destiny to start with so, now I'm logging on to play for 1/8 the fun. Bungie you need to wake up you are killing the game. P.S. The next expansion to this franchise is the first one I'm not buying (pre-ordered all the others).

Which modifiers aren’t they running? The singe ones? Because there is not enough of a bonus for it to matter.
-
I find the modifier changes are a good use of my glimmer. Want a void auto-rifle? BAM 5000 glimmer. Want a solar? BAM 5000 glimmer. It's a good way to use it up, and I still get to use the weapons I like.
-
Seeing we get free gear for doing a few of them and gear from doing Night Fall I don't have an issue with them.

2 RepliesOverall I think the modifiers are fine. I want some challenge when playing. If you're able to just breeze through strikes without difficulty it would get super boring. One thing I can agree with however is the complaint about people ignoring modifiers. That's one thing I wish would be different. The only other complaint I have with heroic strikes is the general idea that you should never revive teammates. Seriously, where are people getting this idea? If someone dies, you should go to their orb and revive them. It makes no sense to just stand 10 feet away and continue shooting things. I have so many times in heroic strikes where a teammate dies and the other teammate just stands on their orb and does nothing. It's as if he doesn't even notice the other player exists. It's super annoying and extremely inefficient if you want to get the strike done.

1 ReplyI miss Torrent/Daybreak

2 RepliesI hate Heroic Strikes. And I really, really really hate 'Heroic Adventures.' What really pees me off is the use of the word heroic, when frustrating, tedious, or the-designers-have-nothing-but-contempt-for-you would be more appropriate.

The fact that the strikes are not strikes plays a big factor as well. This doing a story mission as a strike is just more lazy game development we should expect going forward.
-
The catalyst drop rate is depressing as well. I consider myself a PvE player first and a PvP player second... but the fact of the matter is PvP catalysts are dropping way more than strike catalysts are, and for good reason. It's PvP. Heaven forbid Bungie make the PvP catalysts rare at all. I had all 3 PvP catalysts in a matter of weeks after Warmind launch. However, it's not only the catalysts drawing people to play PvP. It's Valor and Glory. I'm really close to getting the Valor double reset ghost, and I'm at about 1000 Glory, just under halfway to the Claymore. Give us reasons to play heroic strikes... turn the modifiers way up, kick my ass for all I care. I like to be challenged, but I like to feel somewhat powerful as well while I have power ammo or while I have my super or whatever it is. And give us a meaningful strikes grind.

2 Repliesdestiny2 is not fun as a whole , theres nothing good about it , everything was made worse than the previous game which also was only average at best
-
6 RepliesThey are not that hard. You all just want "mommy hold my hand easy mode".
-
i enjoy them eccept the pool seems to only be 3 strikes.
-
The two story missions on mars need passing over to ikora aswell. They are not strikes.
-
I just don’t enjoy them as much as I did in Destiny 1. I don’t see why they didn’t take what they had and improve on it.
-
2 RepliesAgreed.. they tried to make them a bit longer and more interesting I guess.. but actually all they did was make longer areas that you run through.. The strikes in D1 were the perfect length, and most the bosses were interesting. On top of that the d1 strikes were not reworked campaign missions.. Lazy design right there..

Just take a look at Luke Smith’s fuk face, does it looks fun???
