I'm not including our own guardian (if you main Warlock) as we are obviously the most powerful because reasons.
I know this list misses out some Warlocks such as Felwinter but that is because I feel these 5 were the top contenders

Osiris because he was able to hold sunsinger for hours on end during six fronts. And he can manipulate the infinite forest to make copies of himself and other simulations.
-
Osiris - he's not just the strongest Warlock, he was Commander of the Vanguard, and in game Ghost calls him "the most powerful Guardian ever". Toland is very knowledgeable but in terms of lore, the only battle he took part in was the first fireteam to face Crota, whereas Osiris was present on multiple fronts at the Battle of Six Fronts.

6 RepliesEdited by Lucifer: 6/19/2018 2:48:45 PMNeither of these selections are the best overall warlock. Ikora is a weak warlock who ran away once her light was lost. She even whined during the story she should have tried but was afraid to die. Osiris caused more issues than solved problems. Praedyth couldn't traverse the Vault even with his team. Eriana 3 was defeated by the hive along with her entire team. Except Eris Morn. Why is the Speaker not apart of this list. He Taught Osiris and ran the city

3 RepliesWho voted predyth lol he didn't even make it to the gorgons maze.
-
2 RepliesHow can u say we are the most powerful... Every major enemy we defeated was with a group of 3-6 Guardians..... You can say we beat Ghaul and maybe Strike Bosses solo but mostly we won with a team.
-
1 ReplyExcuse me sir, but are you unfamiliar with the story of Darth Plagus the Wise?
-
2 RepliesToland is the only creature to hear the song of death in its entirety and survive (kinda) so that alone puts him at the top to me. Not to mention that he is capable of infiltrating the hive and possible taking the place of oryx or savathun.

1 ReplyWhat is Warlock?
-
2 RepliesGandalf.
-
Smerlin
-
2 RepliesI chose Osiris, since he is technically, from lore and in-game dialogues (both D1 and 2), still alive.
-
Hippy Neil's mate.
-
Julian Sands in Warlock. He was pretty bad ass.
-
Me, -blam!- those other noobs.
-
This is tough I’d have to go with saint-14
I know he’s a Titan, I’m joking.
-
They said Osiris the most powerful guardian ever but they did such a bad job in the dlc, you hardly get any feeling to how powerful he was. Bungie really -blam!-ed up.
-
Osiris. It's not even a question. Toland is a close second but only because he learned how to navigate the Hive's throne rooms and how to talk to "the Darkness." But Osiris is stated numerous times in the lore to be one of the most powerful guardians of all time.

My Warlock with maxed out Armor.

My Guardian.

im the most powerful warlock. fight me

Toland to an extent, since he currently appers not to have an actual body, but is a manifestation within the Hive nether realms. Osiris is incredibly powerful in his own right, but much like the Vex, a lot of the power we see him wield is within simulations. Ikora has had some exceptional moments of skill, though nothing that shouts "POWER!" The last two unfortunately haven't shown much outright power within the lore, and with Felwinter, he has shown to be similarly highly skilled, able to single-handedly claim land and eliminate Warlords to extents no others could match, along with mimicking a Striker shoulder charge with his blink.

3 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 6/19/2018 3:39:49 AMOur player-controlled Warlocks are so ridiculously powerful that they defy your exception. We can... Single-handedly slay a Worm God with just a techno-spear-thing Regain our powers right after losing them like it was no big deal Survive a fall from thousands of feet in the air right after losing said powers (and our ghost) Casually get struck by lightning and become more powerful because of it Slay more gods Routinely defy reality-bending robots and traverse alternate timelines like it's nothing Make players ragequit D1 just because of our melee attacks Walk through swarms of SIVA What did we see the NPC Warlocks ever accomplish in-game? Ikora blew up a Cabal ship and opened a door. Osiris helped out against ONE Vex boss (after we cleaned up his mess.) Oh, and Toland taught Eris a teleportation spell. Maybe a few other minor things, but that was about it. I like to evaluate characters based on what I see in the actual game and not on some external information... that you can't even access in the game itself and is prone to being written out of the lore by Bungie.

1 ReplyAccording to D1 lore it would be Osiris without a doubt. Curse of Osiris made him look like a chump.

I don’t think it’s ikora as most in game conversations and out of game lore seem to indicate while good she’ll never be quite up to par with Osiris or Toland, and I think it’s a toss up between those two.
