going into a team based competition solo and expecting to be judged separate from the team is asinine.
as for edit 2, yes it is your fault. so the previous people you played with no longer play. find new ones. make the effort to achieve your goal, not complain with the worst ever reason of "solo". it is a team event.

false. everyone is solo until you do a team based game of any sort. once you are in a team you are no longer solo, it is no longer about your individual effort. it is a team. your perception is off, you are owed nothing because you performed better than the randoms you lost with, any more so than a loss with a premade team. a team event should be judged on the team's performance as a whole. if you want individual recognition play rumble.

And that may sound find and dandy to say that, but at the end of the day, they're solo players. The majority of "teams" in crucible in D2 consist of 4 players from 4 individual clans. Not an opinion, but a fact. And again...that would ALMOST make sense, but rumble isn't a permanent game mode. If all the solo players got off the game and waited for rumble, destiny would cease to exist. And Im sure Bungie wants that.......

yes there are lot of people who have the mistaken idea as you have that they are "solo". this is the problem of perception, not the game. my suggestion of rumble is if you wish to protest a separate rank for REAL solo players request a rumble rank as a regular mode. or make the effort to make a proper team to get the wins in a team mode. they will not split the rankings, it IS a team game with team rank.

I have assumed nothing. try reading TWAB, they state they will not separate it in plain English. it is indeed a fact all that I stated to you, and the suggestion of rumble is the logical way to go. I have not tried Glory at all, I have been working on leveling first with the time I have to play. I have a whole season to work on rank, I'm not pressed to gain it right away.

And you are correct, I didnt read it. So i just took the time now to read. They said that "they much rather not" separate them. Now I'm not a lawyer, but that's not "plainly" saying they won't, but that it's not their preference to do so. They voiced their preference. Here's me voicing mine and the preferences of the community on Bungie's provided forums designed for community feedback... Bungie is on record to say that the best "players" will be able to get redrix claymore. Not the best "teams" or best "clans". A player is solo.

it is indeed mistaken that you are solo once joined in with a team. that is just closing your eyes to reality. it is good to give feedback and ask for change where reasonable. hence my suggestion of rumble. that is reasonable, and solo. team based modes are teams, if you want success you need the proper ammunition to fight with. meaning assemble a team. if it were solo then it would have been rumble from the start.

Solo players also recognize themselves as solo players. Tell them they're all wrong. So again, assuming you're the smartest in the room, telling me what's "reasonable" and what's not. But maybe you're right.... maybe you know better than us all. Make a forum post about it. Also, Bungie....if you're listening and you believe my post here is UNREASONABLE, feel free to take it down. If it IS reasonable, let's let it keep accumulating upvotes and talk about a change.

you are a solo player until matched with a team. then you are a team, no longer solo. you can gain rank going in alone, but common sense states for best results bring a team instead of having one given to you. it's like digging a hole. I can do it with a spoon, but when you have bigger more effective tools to use why would I try the most difficult route? so again, nothing is assumed.

Common sense states that sense most players already go in alone, that instead of trying to change millions of solo players into non-solo players, we simply change our ranking system to cater to the majority....... Question, do you watch sports? General consensus is that LeBron James is the best player in the world. Aka, Rank #1. However. His team isn't even top 5. Now could you imagine if his rank changed and was no longer a reflection of himself, but of his poor team? Hes on a team, but at the end of the day, he does what he can control to help the team and does so better than anyone else (win or lose) and has earned rank #1. Same way in football or any other team sport

this is my last reply to you as you are clearly as closed minded as blockbuster video is to business. you are solo when you play alone, once entered into any group activity you are no longer solo. that is fact. being the best player on a team gives your team a boost, but in no way means you can win. loses happen, to LeBron, Kobe, Jordan, and every other great who plays on a team. because it is a team effort, the individual only accounts for so much. A star pro player would never go out in the streets and find random people to take into the playoffs, so why would you trust randoms in competitive? then complain about it? you put yourself in the worst position to win possible. if you can't grasp that, there is no reaching you at all. clearly though as this has been stated so much at this stage you must be reading with your eyes as closed as your mind.
