Drop rate for nightfall loot is obsurd
Can we please address the rate at which nightfall loot drops!
Running the same stupid damn nightfall 30 times and not getting it is just damn dumb...
also your Power ammo drop rate is almost negative in it. I could go entire prestige nightfall and not get a single heavy drop..
Stop killing what was such a great game!!

Edited by Deception.exe: 4/13/2018 10:12:13 AMIt’s called RnG and your luck is bad, I played NF on my 3rd try and got it. Try increasing your score to improve your chances. Grinding the same mission for a gear is what grinding is for. Challenge cards can improve the odds, everything is there, it’s just up to the player to deal with it. Edit: forgot to add challenge cards.

Too bad. This is how it felt for people on the wrong side of RNG back in D1. They suffered constantly. Luck is all that matters, and your luck is currently awful. So get back in there! Besides, a grind is a grind right?

I got it on my 12th try, my friend is on his 40th try and still hasn’t gotten it. While the dude who’s helping him has gotten like 5 during that whole time.

Considering is fixed rolls, i think is ok, otherwise you'll be stuck with piles of nf loot that it all do the same shit.

3 RepliesTo get heavy to drop you have to stop letting your team do all the work for you and kill all the yellow bar enemies. If you don't get the kill the ammo probably won't drop. Also so what if you don't get the stupid loot. That's actually a good thing. If everyone had the hand cannon this weapon would not be special and that's what's actually good about the loot. The loot should be hard to get.

5 RepliesYour chances of getting the nightfall rewards increases as the multiplyer is increased. Meaning, normal nightfall runs the drop rare is EXTREMELY LOW. But if you run prestige with a multiplyer of at least 2.0 your chances increase. Ran it at 2.05 4 times and it dropped twice for me last night

I’m seeing a lot of posts talking about prestige w/challenge cards with ~20,30,70 runs not getting rewards. I haven’t run prestige since the new loot has been available. I have all 3 rewards and have only attempted 8 NORMAL nightfall strikes. First week I got the sniper on first run. Second week got the ghost on my third run This week got the handcannon on my 4th attempt. So I’m either extremely lucky or normal mode is better for having drops. I know normal mode is certainly easier than stacking multipliers and going for high scores 50 times.
