Twitter is the worst thing ever
The worst liberals are bred on Twitter.
Honestly, Twitter is the 4chan of liberal run websites. They're all hypocrites and they make up lies and are biased as hell on their "news" section. I deleted it because I couldn't take it anymore but redownload it every now and then to see if some twitter posts I see on other meme sites are real or not, I always end of getting type 2 terminal aids even just opening it.
You can't avoid it either. To search something you have to go to their "news" section and the top article is always some biased or fake garbage. They had one today that was about some elementary schooler writing a journal entry about Christopher Columbus and said something like, "He didn't find America first the Indians did," and "I like getting Columbus day off but I don't like being taught lies," and also, literally out of the blue included, "Also how can white people teach about black history month."
If that's not the fakest garbage ever then I'm from Indonesia 🇮🇩. And they treat it like it's real?! It gets worse every time I go on there. How can you run a website like that?
Edit: Is nobody reading my thread? The NEWS section of twitter has super liberal stuff. You have to go through the news to search stuff. It's unavoidable.

And furthermore, how is it a “liberal” notion to assert that history should be taught correctly? Especially seeing how that incorrectly taught history is a result of a totalitarian regime heavily influencing the telling of history in an Orwellian-esque fashion...I thought individual prosperity, self-interest, and maintaining culture were typically to be associated with conservatism... How is complaining that you’re being taught incorrect information “liberal” in the slightest? Or the suggestion that a member of one’s own culture would be a better instructor of its history than a member of another culture? Would you want to learn “White History” taught by an African? Don’t use the internet if you’re going to freak out about seeing information you didn’t intend on seeing.

I mean, social networks are what you make of them, right? You can see exactly what you want and nothing more. I used to think Twitter was useless for anything "serious", but now that's all I ever use it for. I really like being able to follow specific reporters/pundits/experts. You can get some nice hot takes about the news but also get pointed in the direction of more in-depth pieces. Honestly, one of the best things it's done for a pretty run-of-the-mill Liberal like me is help me keep up with what Conservatives think about current events. So yeah I'm a big fan.

I use Twitter, but ignore the news section entirely. Social Media is -blam!-ing awful for stuff like that, I learned my lessons about that on Facebook.

3 RepliesI guarantee that the majority of the people on this forum probably don't use Twitter at all, or barely even use it. I never see anything related to politics on Twitter at all, mainly because all the people I follow on Twitter are dedicated to video game communities like the FGC, and other games I play. I have never seen anything that my followers like related to politics either. All it is on my feed is literally video games, alcohol, and meetups for tournaments and community related content on video games. Twitter bases their news showings and everything you see not only on what's trending, but also what your followers like, whatever the people that someone follows likes, and whatever the person likes or views more often. If someone is complaining about politics on Twitter and how they see it too often, it's easier if the person stops following some of the people they're following, gets followers who aren't into politics, or in the best case scenario: delete their account entirely. This would best ensure that they will never see politics on Twitter ever again.
