I get great peformance on 1080ti SLIs EXCEPT for one caveat. I posted this before. To sum it up, I get a weird frame lock loop that occurs when the milstone banner appears on screen or a lot of 2d icons on the screen, say at the tower or farm when its full. It got better with the last nvidia driver udate and not as sever, but still there from time to time.

Gsync caused this in some fashion for me. There is a displayport firmware update from nvidia for mostly early pascal cards. It aeemed to fix thia issue almost entirely for my 1080ti's.

indeed, that's weird. have you tried to disable shadowplay some people said it fixed some issues for them. does the problem continue if you leave the area ?
