Content of the DLC aside, do we really want to send the message to Bungie and Activision that we will buy their product no matter what? With all the uproar about Microtransactions, and the deliberately rigged Experience points system I think it's a good time to put the foot down.

Idiots keep buying loot boxes. A few stupid whales ruin everything for everyone.

I haven't bought the DLC....Yet but will be watching twitch or mixer to see if it deserves my money. Bungie is NOT in control of Destiny, (a slave is NOT greater than the master ) suckitvision is in full control.
-
Most all the people I know who bought the season pass are over the game at this point. The DLC is just a big nothing. More meaningless and unrewarding gameplay in a meaningless and unrewarding game. If you like the way the game is now? Then buy it and enjoy. If you don't like it in its current state? Don't buy it until the game is fixed. If you already have the expansion, then download and play it if you enjoy it. If not? Cancel the download and wait till they fix it. But honestly, anybody that would buy the DLC at this point is a glutton for punishment.
-
Yes, but bit#h boys like this guy commenting under me will still buy and play. It’s people like this that keep the game broken
-
I already refunded my season pass. They can suck my dong. Won’t spend any money on bungie shit again.
-
I plan on getting it.
-
10 RepliesBye, see you next week for the dlc!
-
Lol keep your boycotts for real world issues. How about just don’t buy it. ;)
-
If you want it, buy it. If you don’t want it, don’t buy it.
-
Well I already paid for it so not played mg would just be hurting me I am however sorry I bought the game
-
Lol really?
-
It just feels right to post this

32 RepliesEdited by DeltaZulu77: 11/28/2017 11:33:39 PMYou boycott transportation lines for discrimination. You boycott food companies for unhealthy or dangerous ingredients. You boycott clothing production lines for inhuman procurement of animal products. You boycott petroleum companies for damaging environmental policies. You don’t boycott a video game maker for not liking their game, you just don’t buy it. Edit: I didn’t mean Bungie is right or not shady. If you don’t like their game, sure don’t play it. But you are just being an aware consumer in your opinion. Go learn about real boycotts and what people went through to bring about serious change.

yes but there is too many fan boys defending this game it wont work lol

I think it's a little late to organise a sit-in. The sales will drop all on their own. Spring dlc will be even worse unless Bungie rolls up them shirt sleeves and gets busy. While I still enjoy playing D2: it's not D1... but is equally too close and so far from the original in all the wrong ways. I never dreamed D2 would need a 'Taken-King' fixall, but, if you're still here... Well, that's what you are waiting for. Sadly, Bungie appears to be adhering to D1's timeline too closely and it is ashame
-
55 RepliesNope, just ordered the expansion yesterday. Game has it's flaws but it's fun as hell and being a PC player with no D1 experience, I don't have the same sense of entitlement that the "veterans" do..
-
Ya'll upset people should really show Bungie how mad you are and boycott the forums. Seriously like never look or post again. That will really show them!
-
7 RepliesI'll be having fun playing on december 5th. Sorry to hear so many of you peoples lives suck so much that you cant have fun playing a videogame.
-
8 RepliesEdited by ramthesocket: 11/28/2017 10:48:17 PMI'm pretty sure people who weren't planning on playing won't play, including yourself. This boycott post and all others are pointless. Why would someone who, for instance, bought a season pass suddenly boycott on day of launch? They've already bought the product. If someone doesn't want to play, they won't, and on the contrary if someone wants to play, they will. There is a line between playing and not playing, this 'boycott' post isn't going to pull people who want to play the other side. If you want to find out who isn't going to play, how about checking all of the other hate posts rather than wasting your time adding to them.

Edited by Trill_0012: 11/28/2017 11:27:06 PMLol, now we are boycott dlcs? Honestly I think bungie wants this game to die. Having too constantly maintain it (and destiny and in three years d3 maybe) and work on future shit? Cant be fun. This is why they should stick to that halo formula.
My idea of a good game: Massive campaign with co op (open worlds, online optional (The witcher 3, fallout 4) ) Epic pvp with a crazy amount of game modes and casual/competitive playlists, (separate from pve), 3v3-16v16, custom games/bots, player balancing weapons in private matches. Horade mode (customize) Raids 4 dlcs: Two would be for pvp (maps, new weapons and gear), Two for pve (new missions, new raids). Guardians talking! Story Vanguard character missions. Re customization options for guardians Micro transactions would be cosmetic items that you could just buy, or.....look at fallout 4 and the creation club.....do that.
...................... -blam!- this mmorpg shit. Just give me an open world game, with good (separated) pvp. Am I asking for too much?
-
1 ReplySurly if we all decided to play Destiny one instead it would send a message
-
1 ReplyIf you don’t like Destiny 2 now, and you don’t like what the reviews say about Curse or Osiris when it comes out, don’t buy it. Spend your money on things you do like.
-
I cant do that. I bought destiny 2 on the belief that they learned their lesson over the years with D1. After seeing rise of iron and age of triumph providing all the options for gaining loot, I felt D2 would improve on THAT and be even bigger. And i figured the crucible would be like the beta and be fair across all weapon types and that theyd un-blam!- themselves and put back rumble for competitive people like me to play after I happily drained everything possible from the regular game. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha2TokensAndABlueAcross2Chestshaahahahahahahaha
-
Should but won’t. Should’ve boycotted destiny 2 in general
-
2 RepliesI have no intention of buying micro-transactions and will likely not be buying the new expansion. Isn’t it enough for Destiny 2 to have DLC going for it so soon after launch to make money? I think micro-transactions are overkill. Bungie used to be one of my favorite developers. They created Halo and I did enjoy playing Destiny, but a lot of what they have done lately is very shady and does not help their games look good. It’s not so much a boycott for me as just being done with it.

I remember the days when I use to look forward to reset and vendors actually sold weapons and armor... I use to get on every Tuesday and check to see if the crucible guy had a god roll Pali or Dead Orbit has a good scout for PvE or a any good weapon for that matter Pepridge Farm remembers
