Upvote if you want back Primary/Special/Heavy weapon system back in to Destiny 2
I don`t know about you fellow guardians, but I don`t like the new weapon system at all. In my opinion it`s too boring and stale especially in crucible. New system was made to help the crucible feel more balance, but it took away the fun factor for me. I know that`s not easy to do and it needs a proper balance, but still I have hope that Bungie can do it in the future.
Do you think if Bungie bring back old waepon system it`s gonna be better for the game or you think that the current system is better?

Sadly I doubt it will happen but the current iteration is so terrible that maybe if we're lucky...

Imagine using D2 loadout in a D1 raid 😂 so much more underwhelming and boring, I'm still having a blast in D1 crucible and raiding weekly with some friends. D2 not as fun simple as.

They could've had 2 primaries, special and heavy. That'd be best, and they could've limited ammo in PvP for "balance"

I want that happen but doubt it bungie want it that way. It force me to play destiny 1 few days ago. I doubt that i will pre order DLCs.

I prefer the D1 weapon system way more but I doubt they will change it with D2. We might have to wait until D3 for them to change it back.

The new load out has grown on me. Running AR/Hand Cannon, Scout/Hand Cannon or Hand Cannon/SMG is actually a lot of fun.

3 RepliesSnipers dont feel like a power weapons, but thats the problem. How do you buff weapon like that and not destory pvp. Simply fix, sniper should be energy weappons only.

I like the new system but i have one problem - please put snipers, shotties and fusions in the first 2 slots. Make them not crutchy but masterable ( stiff like fighting lion but better) i just really miss that dope snipe game tbh

Don’t pvp much but totally agree that the old way was more fun. I have only fired 3 or 4 shots with a sniper or shotgun since d2 release.

New weapon system is just as disappointing as the new fixed rolls and the end game

It’s a bad system cuz in PVE who wants to waste a power slot on a sniper rifle that in their own right are no good anymore. I see some play with shotguns but it’s rare. It was designed to balance PVP I agree. It’s also why perks have become static like they are and weapon variety is as limited as it is.

1 ReplyI understand why they made the changes to keep people from camping with snipers and running around with shotguns. At the same time I do miss the old system. I don't care to have a auto rifle in the secondary slot.

1 ReplyId rather a 4 weapon loadout up to two can be selected from the current power weapons but no limits for kinetic or energy So you could say run 1 kinetic, 1 energy, then 2 power weapons Or Up to 3 kinetic and/or energy and one power weapon Or 4 kinetic and/or energy with no power weapons. Give us more control and preferences in our loadouts.
