I don`t know about you fellow guardians, but I don`t like the new weapon system at all. In my opinion it`s too boring and stale especially in crucible. New system was made to help the crucible feel more balance, but it took away the fun factor for me. I know that`s not easy to do and it needs a proper balance, but still I have hope that Bungie can do it in the future.
Do you think if Bungie bring back old waepon system it`s gonna be better for the game or you think that the current system is better?

Idk about you but I prefer this new system
i did not hit her I did not
2 RepliesI just wish they made shotguns and snipers special for pve... who even uses shotguns or snipers right now in pve lol
-
They casual coders and can't figure a way to nerf specific weapons that way.
-
4 RepliesI should be a choice, add a toggle switch to the settings menu. I miss the old system but I do like 2 hand cannons lol.
-
They’d have to fix the weapons to work for the raid, cus fusion rifles would be OP
-
Definitely.
-
Bump for sanity. It’s been almost 2 months and the dual primary weapon system is not winning me over.
-
3 RepliesA sniper or fusion rifle AND a sword? I miss that!
-
-
Agree it’s not fun to use the same shit over and over again
-
lol i made the same post a couple of hours ago! I absolutely agree
-
1 ReplyYeah . . . I don’t know where I sit. I hated the new system for a month but now I’ve gotten used to the smell of this moldy turd . . . I’m on the fence . . . But . . . If you thrown in a Dark Drinker, I’ll hop over to your side.
-
15 RepliesI don’t know. I do like not getting insta killed all the damn time from snipers.
-
Yes absolutely
-
The system is good, except the power weapons are sh*t. They need to figure that out, and bring back the machine guns. Baffling.

Introduce snipers, fusions and shotguns that belong in the elemental slot with dlc. Make it so that those new weapons are not allowed in comp/trials. Boom, Everyone is happy.

5 RepliesAn easy fix... Incorporate energy and non energy snipers and shotguns into the rope two slots. This would provide more choice than we used to have and is relatively simple from a programming standpoint.
-
I'd like it. Not really a fan of the new system. I find that I'm pretty limited to the types of weapons I use. Can honestly say I rarely use grenade launchers and shotties. Sniper rifles I've never used apart from during the campaign.
-
2 RepliesD2 will never be as fun with out special weapons. I barely play the game because of the slow pace boring mess it is.
-
It's set up this way for pvp. There's absolutely zero advantage for it in pve. Clearly a load system focused on pvp....
-
Just add a fourth slot for specials. It’s lame to have one spot for 6 types of guns
-
they should have added a 4th slot for that second primary, and switch wepons using tha D-pad, Fck emotes
-
Yes, this is one of those must do changes to revitalize the game. The new system is terrible and even the PvP players who were advocates of it agree now too. Who cares if shotguns or snipers come back, either tweak pvp special ammo or introduce counters. There was no reason to switch this system, it just drags out boss fights needlessly.
-
Yes, or move snipers and shotguns into the energy slot, as it is they're useless at the moment. No doubt there will be a lot of PvP whingers going on about D1 Crucible but it was just so much better than D2's crap system.
-
I wish. Now it's a terrible setup. They might as well have taken out shotguns and sniper rifles.

Yes Please
