They really are out of touch, no wonder the game's dying.

2 RepliesI couldn’t care less about static rolls, I thought they were the best way to go. If not then all random rolls should at least be strong and viable. I’m sure I’m not the only one who hated grinding an event for weeks, only to end up with a shit roll and have to start the process all over again! That shit just ain’t fun
-
Luke must not play the game. F'n static rolls. REALLY!!!!!
-
1 ReplyI think something that would be nice at least is to have rotating static perk rolls that reset every Tuesday.
-
Static rolls are the right idea. The mod system needs fleshed out. Grind powerful mods. Disable mods in crucible. PvE is happy because they get God tier weapons. PvP is happy because luck and time spent doesn't decrease the skill gap. Any weapon balance (looking at you auto rifles) can be achieved easily. If someone is still upset, then it's clear they are a scrub that wants the easy kills in crucible.
-
20 RepliesWell I hated grinding for the God weapon so I agree with him
-
Allow us to purchase mods which we can put on WEAPONS! So I can run a pulse with hand laid stock and rangefinder. Or a scout with firefly and explosive rounds. Nobody can have a exclusive God roll as everyone can make the same roll but it does mean that you're not stuck with guns that are....boring if that's a word I can use. Allow us to chose just what perks we want on them...trust us Bungie, we know what we want!

If Luke Smith thinks static rolls are the right decision then he needs to be fired.

2 RepliesLuke Smith is a wanker.

4 RepliesYou have to be a special type of moron to try and make a loot game, forget you need loot people actually want, then claim it's not a loot game but a collection game. . How the guy is still in a job is beyond me.
-
10 RepliesIt time to face facts: this game sucks. They ruined the loot system. Nothing rare, nothing exciting, nothing to grind for. It's over :(. I don't think they can fix it either.

Luke Smith is the cause of destiny 2's failure

Sad thing is there still isn't balance. Still a meta- mida, uriels, last hope, antiope. It's just a less fun meta.
-
The biggest issue is if this is how they want it to continue: Bungie's Crucible team has to balance the game much more often then they ever did in D1.
-
Viper I bet you're loving this hahahaa wasnt sure you'd still be here 😂😂

1 ReplyWe should put a gimp mask on him and throw him in a cell with a bunch of randy Cabal for a few days.
-
What a load of bs. It's for the "collection game". No, it's for the balance and everybody knows it.
-
1 ReplyThe static rolls were designed to keep PVP balanced. Bungie wants the MLG thing to take off. The *RIGHT* suggestion would be to separate PVP and PVE. Fans have been asking for that since day 1 but BUNGIE stubbornly clings to their mantra of ‘we want guns to feel the same in PVE and PVP’ It might be time to listen to some fan feedback. Sometimes they know what is “right.’

3 RepliesEdited by Salty500: 10/15/2017 2:38:30 PM
I'm still a pretty big supporter of the change. I believe that, ultimately, the Destiny franchise is heading towards becoming a collection game. I understand that we have shortcomings there right now that we need to address. With respect to making duplicates matter, this is still one of the things we have ideas for.]
To be fare viper he does say that they are going to address the shortcoming, and have plans for making duplicates matter ? So that's just wait and see .... Fingers crossed

It was only the right decision for Bungie themselves. To make it easier for them to balance the game. For the actual players? Hell f--king no.
-
3 RepliesHe says right choice while most players have left his game already. Wtf is wrong with this guy. I bet he’s saying those numbers are fake news too!!

1 ReplyEdited by KannibalKlown: 10/15/2017 1:07:40 PMGood decision for balance. Probably a bad decision for longevity. I'm against re-rolls, those were toxic. But random drops are 'OK' so long as they prevent certain combinations from dropping to make the gun function too far outside the normal performance band for its class. Like don't allow perks to drop that when combined make the gun 90% stability if every other gun in that class is 50% max. Or a gun with both rampage and reactive reload or whatever. The issue is, they are trying to serve two ends of the spectrum. There was a lot of whining in previous years about "LOL Destiny is so unbalanced it's not funny" or "LOL Bungie should learn from Blizzard how to make a balanced game." I wouldn't be surprised if *cough* some people from THIS thread made similar complaints. But Search on this forum sucks so not worth checking. But on the other hand, as others have said... now they are facing an even louder group that (perhaps rightfully) thinks that taking away meaningful loot from a game that historically drew people in BECAUSE of the loot is problematic.
