IB Reward is an emblem! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
I was completely fooled by this so called "seasonal reward". You'd think that something which requires days of grinding to achieve would net us something good. Maybe an exotic engram...or a powerful gear reward of some sort?
Nope...you basically get crap low level duplicates and a crap emblem for all the time you've wasted. It is the biggest letdown for the time you've wasted grinding in IB. I am absolutely floored that I wasted so much time in iron banner for practically nothing!

Out of all this, which all of them were from IRON BANNER packages, only the helmet and the robes were iron banner gear. The arms and the boots, which I will remind you, were from IRON BANNER ENGRAMS, were not Iron Banner loot. Wasn't even 300 light. Wtf is this sh[b]i[/b]t Bungie???

Thought it would be soldering cool and like a throwback to that time we kicked ass alongside saladin....like a sword or something. But an emblem is fine. Totally fine...

1 ReplyYeah I don’t know who’s idea all this was but they should be pulled in to an office somewhere and spoken too !!! Honestly couldn’t believe that ib is effectively control mode crucible !!! Added nothing to the pvp experience .. the gear fell at low level , power level didn’t matter and to top it all of the weapons are all reskins !! What was the point in this ib ???

But still, I had fun playing with my clan, and getting to just play Control, not having to deal with any of the other modes. 90% of the 2000+ hours that I spent in D1, was spent just playing Control over and over. So... I enjoyed it, for the most part.

1 ReplyI like the look of emblem. I just wish it had a tracking function to make it more "unique." Like Iron Banner kills, or wins, or something. Anything. If it counted how many fux I've not given would be ideal though. Make it happen Bungie.

3 RepliesIf you weren't playing Iron Banner for the armor sets then you were wasting your time to begin with. If you are trying to getthe armor then you will open far more the 10 packages to get one set making this just an added item.

Too late, already hit 10 packages trying to get the Hunter cloak which I still haven't gotten. I've gotten the fusion rifle like 4 times though.

1 ReplyD2's IB is a little too casual. Plus the reward system blows due to the fact you can get non-Iron Banner gear from leveling up Iron Banner. Doesn't make much sense. The only gear that I want are the Warlock boots. I've leveled 10 times and only received 2 scout rifles, 2 pulse, 2 subs, and 3 warlock bonds. Oh not to mention every other pair of boots in the game that aren't IB. [b]Fix it.[/b]
