wait so we shouldnt preorder it on bone cuz it doesnt qualify for a rewards program?
thats not a particularly compelling argument.
I pre ordered it so i dont need to fumble with a disk anymore, how does that benefit get outweighed by an opportunity that was never there?

Edited by Sherpa: 8/1/2017 1:18:08 AMHe's saying that if it's a game with no major preorder incentives wait until the game releases and buy it digitally on day 1 because a pre-order purchase does not count toward the rewards program which can actually help you get some money back I've used the program for a short while and earned $50 in points. I still preordered D2 as the incentives were worth it for me since I was going to buy D2 anyway

wait, so one still needs to weigh pre-order bonuses v the rewards program, or that if you buy it day one you can reap BOTH rewards?
-
You have to weigh the rewards of each to see which ones you want more. Sometimes when you buy a game day 1 it'll count and give you preorder rewards too but that's rare
-
ah ok, ty. i think ill stick with my preorder in this case, but ill be sure to check out that reward program too.
