Please, remove forced PvP from Exotic Quests or Quests that are necessary to unlock content. I do not like PvP on any game. Just not my thing. As a consequence, I missed out on several Exotics and Sparrow Racing all together in Destiny 1. Would love to avoid that exreme aggravation in Destiny 2. Thanks.

Agreed. For exotic quests and for the Moments of Triumph crap, I HATED doing the PVP parts. I know it's Bungie's way of exposing you to PVP but if it's going to remain the crapfest it is then there's no point in being forced to play it. PVE is far more enjoyable for me and it's really just a pain in the ass whenever something is available ONLY through PVP.

Nah, keep it how it is makes you appreciate it more when you do achieve it. Stop this "win or lose, you're still a champion!" No, No, No, You lose....You're a Loser.

1 ReplyI definitely wasn't a fan of pvp in destiny and dreaded having to suffer through match after match to get enough void kills or whatever to get to the next part of the quest. I do like the way they make quests hard to completer however, just not between pve and pvp. Imo they could make pve and pvp dedicated quests. There are enough different things you can accomplish in pvp alone to have a few pvp quest chains.

1 ReplyI agree to a point, PVP quest are not terrible as long as they are done right. If you have to find 5 friends or do some cheese just to finish, then the Quest wasn't any good. Year 1 quest were decent, after that they seemed to run out of Ideas. All quest should be doable solo, unfortunately playing solo isn't in Bungies vocabulary.

Think of it like this, the crucible is a training ground. You need to master that ability to be able to wield the weapon. I dnt rly like pvp either but it's a cool aspect in destiny.
-
you missed out on sparrow racing because you don't like pvp??? would you have played it if you were racing ai?
-
But they have forced pve exotics. Majority of quest are pve focused. Give something to the PvP crowd.

Edited by SeekerofPower17: 7/28/2017 1:09:15 PMI'm not a PvPer and finishing the parts of the quests that required it was difficult for me, but I don't think they should be removed. I think some exotics should require both types of play. It makes sense.

9 RepliesIt's called playing the whole game. You can't complain about only playing one part of a game and not getting all of the stuff.
-
5 RepliesThat's like a PVP player saying "please remove PVE required exotics!" ... No
-
11 Repliesim cool with it, as long as they remove the boring pve aspects from exotic quests as well. Nothing more boring than having to play the same strike multiple times or get kills in patrol just to get an exotic. Besides, thats like a pvp player asking for the outbreak prime to be available without raiding because they don't like to raid. The answer is no. you specifically choose to not play it. You don't have to enjoy what you are doing , but if you work towards it, you will get it. None of the pvp parts of any exotic weapon were difficult except for the first curse, and even that one wasn't that bad. The PVE aspects of exotic quests are much harder. I didn't enjoy the quest for outbreak prime one bit, but i did it. It took me 3-4 hours(lost a guy in the middle), but i still made myself do it, even though it didn't enjoy many of the parts required to get there. And i'm glad i did, because now i own what could be my favorite weapon to use in pvp since the release of this game.

I actually enjoy crucible now so im fine with this

I finished all of them, but I do think it would've been nice to have a PvE option alongside the PvP one in most of them. Besides Thorn back in the day, I don't think any of the exotics that required playing PvP to get are even that great in PvP. I think all of them are better suited for PvE, especially the swords.

Everyone move to the right the waaaaaaambulance is coming through

Edited by Eclipse: 7/28/2017 11:57:02 AMDon't worry, the weapons that are obtained through forced PvP quests will be THE BEST PvE weapons in the game. 👍🏼

Ummm wat? You crazy for dis
-
Maybe it was a little annoying but most of the quests made sense, imo. I managed to complete them all as well. If I could I feel anyone could have.
-
I was like that before untill i just tried it out and i love PvP now. And i hope they bring back pvp exotic quests in D2 tbh.
-
Most definitely! !
-
2 RepliesPvP is obviously Bungles top priority. Sadly, you better get used to it.
-
1 Replyanother one of these posts....you are NOT FORCED. if you want to get the reward you do the activities to gain it. period. if you like the activity or not has nothing to do with it, if you want it bad enough do it, if not don't. Just don't cry about completing questlines designed for everyone to complete as if it's self amputation.

1 ReplyCrucible is practice for fighting enemies and honing your skills. In PvE, they should multiply your damage output by your PvP kd.

How about if you don't like doing it you don't get the gun? I never got the Outbreak Prime because I dread raiding, but I'm perfectly fine with that because I know others love raiding. You can't have everything exactly the way you want, bud. Bungie will give you plenty of loot. Be grateful you'll have a game you can enjoy for hours on end.
