For me, it's PvP still being a laggy mess due to sbmm bands, matching people from all over the world. For the love of God I hope they regionalise it better

Crucibabies crying as bad as they did in D1 ruining pvp in D2, and us pve players had to deal with the nerfing consequences.
I really hope the pve and pvp balancing is separate.
Subclasses being less customizable everything else is fine with me
-
For me it's everything bad about this game still being there when D2 launches and beyond. I also don't want a shit load of nerfs because people can't adapt. Ideally a sequel that has that year one feel would be great along with everything that was shown during the reveal. I can't wait to play the beta and see what it will be like, hopefully it's not a mess......

A lack of world-altering actions.

Edited by Hashlabrown: 6/6/2017 10:05:15 PM"Must know what to do and have X, Y, and Z exotic weapons to raid" as the majority of the clan slogans a week after the raid drops.

1 ReplyThe new weapon loadouts. My usual PVE loadout is a scout/hand cannon, sniper and usually a sword or HMG. Now that our current secondaries are heavy weapons...well...I guess I'll never use swords, machine guns or rocket launches anymore? R.I.P fusion rifles? I dunno man...boss bullet sponges? I'm gonna scout the boss to death? They better have a butt ton more "heavy ammo" drops -_-

Obviously we won't know everything until the game comes out or beta. Subclasses- the options on subclasses seems very thin. I'm worried there won't be the ability to have any deep class customization or experimentation to make funky or oddball setups. Supers I guess fall under subclasses, and so far it seems pretty roaming super heavy. They also seem a tad uninspired. The flame sword warlock seems not all that undifferent from solar Titan. Supers are an area where they could have gotten really creative, but from what's been shown Not all of my concerns, just jotted down quickies

That I won't be able to help/carry in trials
-
Gameplay wise? The new subclasses feeling way to much like older ones. Story/lore wise? The usual forgetting of characters even existing. Never seeing favorites I adore come back. That's always a dread for me when it comes to sequels.

My fear is that I will probably start to get low grades for playing too much
-
Trials will be further structured toward 'everyone gets a medal' rather than 'top tier rewards for top tier effort'.
-
That the patrols and pve will still be ass. I just want them to actually do what they promised d1 would be. Pls bungo

Still no audio cue for shield regen

Nerfing Fusion Rifles. I would be devastated 😱

Snow dreg masks ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Not being able to snipe and long ttk

Our character still doesn't talk and in the new inverted spire strike they just get talked at by the vanguard and ghost the entire time exactly like in the first game. Hell, they even have the exact same grunt and exertion sounds as they do now. If our guardian doesn't learn how to talk soon, honestly... the campaign will feel just like the first game. I understand that the voice actors probably only signed on for the base game but most of them wouldn't be that hard to replace. In games like titanfall 2 and borderlands our characters talk and we can get a small sense of who they are, but in D1 we're just a super powered goon who just stares out into space while getting talked at in cutscenes...

1 ReplyI'm worried about hunters. Not that they'll be OP, but that they'll be underused. Think about it. Warlocks get a flaming sword and a rift which can heal you or increase your damage (I don't know anything about the void subclass). Titans get Fists of Havoc, Captain America, and an impenetrable barrier. Hunters get golden gun, poledancer, and improved shadestep. It just seems like they just have crappier stuff in general. However, I haven't actually played with any of this, so I have no idea if anything is good or not. Hell, hunters could actually end up being on top. I'm just gonna have to wait and see. That is my concern.
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
3 RepliesThat 70% of the users will complain that there is not enough to do...
-
1 Reply2..... One is that its to easy to level up, D1 was good the first year and a half or so then it seems like everything was achieved without any work. Second, with the ability to " Join " a clan in game, I hope they don't forget the player that simply wants to play solo. I love my Clan, but sometimes I just want to play alone and get stuff done without anyone else.

8 RepliesI'm traumatized by the three melee thing, and weapons seem a lot less perk based, making for a lot less variety. And for me, weapon variety always kept te game alive. No two pulse rifles were exactly the same. In D2 exotics and legendaries seem lackluster, and time to kill overall seems slow, and everything just has a lot of health. Aside from that, I'm not too worried

1. Story will still be shite 2. Im not encouraged by the amount of planets we have... seems to little... reminiscent of D1 3. We will hit max light or level cap and then it will be D2 again 4. A shite first raid 5. The fact that raiding seems to still be the only end game activity 6. Wont be enough players on PC 7. Bungie are going to cater to solo players and noobs and casuals more and more and more
-
4 RepliesClasses not being unique. We already lost sunsinger and defender. Terrible design decisions.
-
My biggest fears: #1. That there will be no separation of social and ranked pvp playlists. #2. That shady SBMM practices will still be present in all pvp game modes #3. That Trials will remain the way it is #4. That PVE will still stay a bullet sponge/level based system, where the hardest AI is as stupid as any Halo AI on Easy. #5. That the player population across all activities will be low
