I just don't get it. All the time people talk so much trash to female players when half of them are better than us guy players. If you haven't learned yet, playing video games takes absolutely no physical commitment. You literally move your fingers. So why wouldn't woman be just as good if not better than men at this game or any video game ? The other day I joined a raid and the 6 person joined up and it was a girl. She said hello, and everyone got quit ( cause you know, when a girl comes on the mic little boys can't handle it) I said hello back then she left. Come to find out she was KICKED ! The party owner said " I don't like to game with girls, there not any good". I left at the point. I can't deal with half minded little boys. Some of you need to grow up and let your balls drop.
Rant over.
EDIT 1: you can call it whatever you want " white knight" lol I don't care. Half of you saying it's bullshit are liers and the other half have never gotten laid. This post isn't to " bait girls" lol how lame. But hey we're trending so keep sending the hate !!!
For the rest of you, thank you a lot for your replies they are hilarious and well thought out. Keep em coming !

2 RepliesWhenever I have a girl in my party or fireteam its not a big deal, but the mood of my friends change and they start trying being funny, and I start laughing my ass off because they are trying to impress a girl over Xbox. Honestly dont care if you are a guy or a girl, as long as you act like a human being.

I was like "My main guardian is a female because I wanted character variety, I don't understand how that is a problem." And then I read the post and realized this is a totally different issue.
-
That sucks. I don't care what gender or species you are. Let's play some -blam!-ing destiny!!!!!!!!!
-
I feel like the people on the forums are on a completely different planet or some shit. 99% of the time nobody cares what gender someone is, and the other 1% is people begging to have girls on their team.

Edited by Urban Shade: 4/21/2017 4:08:26 PMI remember during the days of vanilla destiny, I was on a huge streak playing rumble. Was enjoying myself until this one game, this player joins and turns the lobby upside down for the next 5 matches and I simply couldn't keep up with him. I'm a little flustered and I look up the persons gamer tag on google thinking it was a twitch streamer/YouTuber and none of that pops up. Turns out it was a former MLG member in the halo community back in the day. I clicked on a link to the persons team website or something like that, and it shows a picture of a girl as a profile picture (with the same GT I searched up). It also showed pictures of her and her team mates and their accomplishments.
boy was I a little dumb founded, but hey. Gamers will be gamers. Whatever the gender.
6 RepliesOn the contrary... I found a perfect woman that plays Destiny with me, so I put a ring on it.

Edited by minigun800: 4/21/2017 4:10:43 PMI left a fireteam thinking a girl a was a squeaker once. That crap can get annoying.
Squeakers I mean
Normal people don't do this. Normal people don't care if you're a guy or a girl. Just because you ran into a few jerks online does not mean you need to get on the forums and preach like you're better than everyone. No one cares about your life story Mr. White Knight. Go beg for woman to take you seriously somewhere else.

11 RepliesEdited by TheW1ngedHussar: 4/21/2017 2:23:47 PMThat's the problem? I figured the problem with female players is that horny teenage boys cream themselves over a female voice. But other than that, female players are solid players. I don't know if this is true but they might also make horny teen boys try harder in PvE/PvP activities to impress the female player.

DOWNVOTE SQUAD, TO ME!

You sound like you did this in hopes of catching some online females attention Secondly we aren't all rude to them. Some of us dont care if you are whatever gender, we just care to know if you're chill and a good player depending on what we are doing. Those who are rude usually are always muted so why the need to do this thread? Most guys ive raided with (I'm a guy too obviously) never gave any female player shit or even batted an eye at them. Just treated them as equals. I wasted minutes of my life replying to this thread I allow you to reply to me kiddo

Can you take a gun or some throwing knives and feed face with them? Ok, no issue. The only gender I care about is 'murderer'; if you're one of those in game, you're fine in my book.

5 RepliesI've seen a few who are highly skilled and play very well. I think the % that play is very low so you don't hear about them as often. | Jkeggy | Lighthouse Sherpa |

3 RepliesOK, level with us man, who's the girl you're trying to be the knight in white armor for, because we all know this story is garbage and never happened. I get it, you're the sensitive type and it's your way of being the hero, that's fine, but no need to make up a story to set yourself apart from the other guys. Because, see, not only is this story completely implausible and bereft of believable details, but you literally have nothing else to gain from it. No one here believes you just HAD to get this "rant" off your chest, so go find Hailey or Sara or whoever she is, tell her you're in to her, and be ready for the consequences. You'll either be set up to pipe, or you'll be kicked in the emotional balls, but either way, you'll have respect.

Girl gamers have a stigma about them, whether that be unfair or not. They don't bother me at all, and if I was still playing, I'd happily take other female guardians through the raid. The main issue I have experiences is that girl gamers also tend to be very catty when it comes to other girls (at least in my experience) and my main raid group already has one girl on it, who is very friendly btw. I don't know what it is, and it could just be my experience, but many gamer girls just don't like the presence of another female in the group, and that can make the party awkward. This doesn't apply to ALL girls mind you. My regular group now has three girls who pop in our party frequently without issue. But I have experienced it in the past where I've had a girl pop in to play, she's really friendly and talkative, and as soon as my other female member says "hello," its like an instant shutdown.

Gender/age/sexuality isn't any issue for me. As long as we are all here for a common goal, and can do so without a lot of meaningless banter, I'm more than happy to play with anyone.

3 RepliesI have yet to find a competent girl on destiny. I know they are out there, but every one that I have come across, have been carried through the entire game by guys.

To be perfectly honest I've never had this problem until recently, when Age of Triumph hit. During Aksis and Oryx I never had an issue with this, but now while running these raids again I get shit heads telling me how to play as if I don't have a huge number of completions on each raid. It pisses me off. Story time. Doing Oryx last week, when it was the weekly challenge. We are doing the Golgoroth challenge, I'm 4, and a friend of mine was 3. We wiped a few times before we got it, but in those wipes it was either 2 or 5/6 who messed it up and caused the wipe. Certainly not me, I was still grabbing the gaze even when three wasn't calling it because I was simply paying attention to what everyone was doing. Keep in mind, I was the only one he said this to, no one else. This asstruck reminded me to get the gaze twice in the same breath after the first two or three wipes, told me to prepare to get it. I told him off. Next wipe, he tells me again, I told him off again because I was getting pissed at this point. I'm one of the few consistently getting my gaze, I certainly don't need to be told. By the next wipe and the next time he reminded me to get the gaze I told him that if he reminded me one more time I was kicking him. He went quiet after that. Different time, had another guy running on the plates, I was the titan in the middle. After the third cycle the guy on one of the plates died, so I said I'd take his plate. Not only did the other guy in middle criticise me for my loadout, he also reminded me that I'll need to detonate. I called him a C U Next Tuesday and went on with it. Hell, even last night I had some POS tell me how to run relic. While I may be new to running relic, I do know what the buttons do. Honestly I'm just going to start getting kick happy when people start telling me how to do things I've done again and again and again. Thankfully both Nova and Siva tell people off if they start singling me out like that, and will happily kick anyone who pisses me off. I may be a girl, but I am usually better than most of the idiots I play with.

43 RepliesI only play with Male guardians as the females don't do enough damage and take less hits before they die
