Nostalgia isn't always a good thing.
Year 1 was good, so was 2 and 3.
Each has had its ups and downs. People just don't like change.

Its easier to find matches in halo reach xbox 360 than in destiny crucible xbox one explain that? year one IS better there's maybe a nostalgia effect there, but its almost irrelevant

Well people play new games and leave old ones, hence player drop off and longer matchmaking.
