The patch to stop repetitive gun use promotes repetitive gun use.
So as you all know, Bungie are genius. They changed this games crucible to the point where it's no longer possible to compete with a sniper, fusion rifle, or a shotgun. Not only that, but there is absolutely no point in using any other primary weapon other than a hand cannon, or the no land beyond.
Seeing as this genius idea was allowed to pass game checks and company bigwigs we can expect more great things from our beloved games developer. Like Destiny 2.
Oh yeah, Destiny 2. The game they've also been developing for ages. Just like this one. Destiny 1.
So ask yourselves this, are you confident that Bungie have learned their lessons from Destiny's first offering? I for one am not. Not at all.

3 RepliesYou don't have a single game of crucible played in the last 30 days on any of your characters, how can you accurately criticize a game type you don't play? Also, there are plenty of shotguns and snipers still roaming around, it's just that no one likes picking up ammo so sidearm is the easy choice. Or if you don't like picking up ammo for your shotgun or sniper, use a primary shotgun or sniper. Problem solved.

5 RepliesI do not exactly understand why you think having a sniper, shotgun, or fusion rifle is useless in the crucible now. I still get kills with all three, especially with my favorite fusion rifle, Omolon FR4 (I love the concept of Omolon weapons <3). If you are so dependent on your special weapons, then here, try this: When you start the game up, use your special weapon first so you're able to use it while you can. When you run out of ammo, use your primary until you get more ammo for your special. It's literally that simple.

9 Replies"Its no longer possible to compete" lol yes it is. Just because you have to wait for some special doesn't mean you can't use a different special. You can go against the meta still, and- for once- you have quite a chance.

5 RepliesNo matter how much effort goes into attempts to balance things, some weapon is going to rise to the top. There are too many different weapons and perks that affect the weapons. Too many combos to ever get things balanced. The only way is everyone gets the same canned loadout. Then there will really be some whining.

Hell also due to that a lot of people used a loop hole to get refunds because all previous content wasn't up to par with current content due to a really rash and stupid business decision.

9 RepliesI've enjoyed the patch's effects on Supremacy. People mostly battle with primary weapons and there is less camping. Snipers aren't holding still ADS as often.

1 ReplyDestiny has improved dramatically. The nations of Earth just cancelled all orders for .50 cal HMG's and ordered PPK's. Reason: no bullets for their heavies. But, their BB guns have bullets when soldiers die. Just pick up the gun and keep plinking those 'commie bastards'... 😂😂
