Hey NEURO,
There are high leveled Ghosts that can detect/grant Helium Filaments. I have a few myself. It's really all RNG. I have both a Senator Shell (New Monarchy) and Pursuer Shell (from Archon's Forge) that's detect Helium Filaments.

First up, thanks for the reply! But.. I've not seen any of the faction vendors have them in stock in the last 12 resets I've been checking. So I've been thinking that its not an rng deal, but that they're just not a thing. They've always had the same other three each time. Vendor stock and every level up package. Only the other three. Every time. Sigh :(( Ideas?

Edited by Cat: 3/4/2017 8:57:44 PMIn stock? No. But you can get them as rewards. Vendor weapons/armor don't change. Also, I would just recommend playing Archon's Forge. Ghosts drop pretty often there.

I've been grinding up faction at least weekly. Ive even switched factions and done so. Even in the rewards I've not seen helium ones as a possible. What's the archon's thing u mentioned? Thx again!!! :))

Heya! Thx for the reply :)) I do, but kinda hard to solo all those quests with my gear. I'll get there eventually. I was just wondering if it was pvp or a strike etc, cos those are impossible for me. My disability prevents me from having the dexterity to do those. Heck I die 100x doing light 350 missions. So i just keep on and on until I get it or can't do it anymore... Then start again the next day lol :)) PvP is ofc, right out lol :)) Cheers!!! :))

I've never done that. Or any TTK content. Not good enough gear it says or not enough light level. Heh. I died about 50x just doing mission other day to clear taken from Cosmodrome lol. Can't do new strikes. Dont have the cool Arc ability tree, or one of those swords everyone has and nobody will ever group with me. I don't blame them. Tried a few tines but just wind up getting kicked. Heh. Just saw the new live event announcement deal and haven't the foggiest what it means lol 😂😂😂 So im just gonna run around and work through missions and quests until i get stuck and mostly just run and jump and fly around until the game stops connecting to servers. I just got screwed out of it all with the whole 360 version and all DLC i never got to after MS pushed an update that killed the drive in my star wars console right when wolves came out. Then due to circumstances and illness I basically had a year off until I got my XBONE elite while still in hospital and bought the CE all over again for it, but then the ppl i waa staying with had to move and so i had to get set up at a new house. Then in hospital again last year holiday season (mid Dec to mid Jan). PRO TIP: Best way to avoid family xmas drama and stress is to be in hospital!!! lol :)) Only had couple friends and my dad drop by a few days. But it was my best friend who bought me tge XBONE and the Astro A50. Tho with their crazy WiFi, me and my 90 year old roomate mostly watched anime cos he was a fan. Heh. Hooked it to both TV and got the master remote from maintenance to bypass the only 6 channel no settings bullshit lol :)) Heh. I had pre ordered ROI and got it after a while. Prolly wont get there but maybe. I can't play for long most days, but i still play a few times a week. Destiny has been my third favourite game just under ME and BL. And I've been playing Bungie titles since origibal xbox. So many years of AMAZING fun and making online friends (I dont get out in public much at all tbh and then its mostly to docs lol) So gaming has always beeb my escape and refuge; the one thing always a constant in a turbulent life. And I love being able to become a character that is strong and fast and powerful - all the things I'll never be. Except my hand strength is off the charts according to my OT girl lol. Gee. Wonder why lol 😂😂😂 :)) So it's been a great run with Destiny. I've enjoyed the absolute frack out of it no matter the setbacks I've had. Kudos to Bungie for creating such great worlds for me to explore and great heroes to be and crazy villains to beat!!! 😁😁😁 :)) It has been a great run indeed. And i can always look over at my huge shelves of gaming statues and such and see my Little Light sitting there next to the heroes of Reach and imagine he's smiling at me :)) Cheers all , and as always, thanks for the help :)) -K
