If you aren't using Best Buy's replacement plan for broken controllers guardians, you should be.
It cost $20 and you can replace a worn out or broken controller no questions asked.
I started doing this when I upgraded to the Xbox elite controller. $150! $20 well spent. I've replaced 3 controllers over the course of destiny. Spent $20 each time to re-enroll the replacement controller.

1 ReplyI have 2 ps4 controllers that wore out over time (one has a sprint problem in the left thumbstick and the other has slow turn) I bought them from GameStop, would I be able to pay $20 and have Best Buy fix/replace them?

9 RepliesOrrrrrr...... Start with the controller you got with your Xbox/Playstation. You then buy a new one from Walmart. Keep receipt. Go home/to your car, put your old controller into the new box and return for full price. They never look at them. Spend your 20 bucks on drinks/dinner. There you go.

Guessing you have to buy the controller from Best Buy for this to work? I ordered my console off Amazon and it came with the One S controller, don't think they will replace it for 20 if it breaks

It's a shame I can't pay $20 for best buy to make the Xbox One controller more durable with a higher overall build quality than the trash I've got. :/
